Rumi from KPop Demon Hunters is intersex, and her variation is 17-beta Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase 3 (17-beta HSD) Deficiency with ambiguous genitalia consisting of clitoromegaly & labial fusion, along with vulvar hypospadias, hypoandrogenism, two testicles with microorchidism, and a prostate in place of a uterus.
Requested by @dhddmods + elaboration (with potential spoilers) under the cut!
The requester elaborates: " She can be interpreted as intersex-coded, or otherwise queer-coded/disabled-coded.
In an intersex reading, Rumi represents a visibly intersex person, Celine represents the caregivers and doctors of a visibly intersex person, and the Honmoon represents the pericisnormative patriarchy. Rumi has patterns which she was told to hide and be ashamed of, as they go against the Honmoon. The patterns do no physical harm to her - in fact, hiding them is what harms her. She tries everything to get rid of them, which causes them to spread (which can be interpreted as an intersex person being coerced into medical procedures, such as birth control or HRT, in an attempt to hide their intersexuality, but instead it only hurts them/makes it more visible).
She is so ashamed of her patterns that she won't even go to the bathhouse with her friends, and Celine encourages this hiding, saying nothing can change until her patterns are gone. When she is outed as having patterns, she confronts her caregiver Celine, who can't even look at her, and asks why she never loved her. Celine says "everything I was taught told me you were wrong" and that she "tried her best to accept her", but Rumi says that telling her to hide her body isn't acceptance.
By the end of the movie, she created a new Honmoon (which can be interpreted as deconstructing the pericis patriarchy and creating a new world), and shows off her patterns happily, going to the bathhouse and walking around in public with them on display, no longer ashamed. "
Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas & Ferb is canonically intersex-coded, and potentially transmasculine-coded! As elaborated by the requester @dhddmods, "In the show, it is depicted that in his backstory he was forced to wear feminine clothes, unlike his brother. Additionally, he has stated that he is incapable of growing facial hair. In one episode he even makes a machine to make people's voices higher, so that his seems lower in comparison, because he is insecure of his high-pitched voice."
The requester headcanons Doof to have Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS) with hypoestrogenism and hypoandrogenism; he has ambiguous genitalia of a penis & vagina combination, with penoscrotal transposition, congenital chordee, and vaginal hypoplasia. Internally he has an underdeveloped reproductive system, which includes microorchidism, prostate hypoplasia, seminal vesicle hypoplasia, and bilateral vas deferans agenesis.
Doofenshmirtz experienced an inconsistent socially-imposed gender (ISIG) (link), as his parents couldn't devide which gender to rear him as during his youth.
Intersex flag-only, popular transmasc flag, and coffee bean transmasc (link) flag edits under the cut!
Uta from Tokyo Ghoul is intersex-coded, and his variation is XO/XY Mosaicism with unilateral testicular ovotestes (link) (the teste is streak and the ovoteste is dysgenic), ambiguous genitalia including a microphallus and funnel-shaped persistent urogenital sinus (link), and a cyclical hormonal phenotype.
The requester @inketh elaborates further: "He is depicted with a gender-fluid/androgynous style of dressing, called pretty/feminine by other characters, and possesses rare ghoul mutations (kakugan that can't be deactivated, multiple kagune types, shapeshifting ability) that I headcanon as being a part of how mosaicism impacts him. He's also portrayed as "strange"/neurodivergent, which could also be associated with his variation."
Ralsei from Deltarune is intersex, an ipsogender (link) androx (link), omnisexual & omniromantic, aliquasexual (link) & aliquaromantic, and polyamorous, and his variation is Partial Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (PAIS)! His traits include ambiguous genitalia, persistent urogenital sinus (link), mild gynecomastia, and minimal horn growth.
Vash The Stampede from Trigun Maximum is intersex, and his variations are XX/XY Chimerism and Gonadotropin Deficiency, with hypogonadism and agenitalia (link) including cryptorchidism.
Ivan from Alien Stage is an intersex gay greyrose (link) gender-apathetic (link) egogender (link) non-binary man, using he/him, e/em, and his name instead of pronouns along with it/its in reclaimation, and Ivan's variation is Classic Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) due to 11β-Hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (11beta HSD) deficiency with lateral ovotestes (link) and ambiguous genitalia consisting of a clitorophallus and posterior partial labial fusion! E is also in love with Till! (link)
Randolph Carter from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos is an intersex bisexual polyamorous transfeminine demiguy (link) boygirl (link) using he/they/she pronouns with family and she/her with strangers, and she has ambiguous genitalia, ovotestes, no ability to produce gametes, a somewhat functional uterus, a slightly estrogenic puberty! Sadly she was forced on testosterone HRT as a teen, but managed to avoid other medical abuse and is now happy on estrogen HRT as an adult.
Till from Alien Stage is an intersex bisexual trans man using he/him, they/them, xe/xem, and ze/zhim pronouns along with it/its and shi/hir in reclaimation, and his variation is Swyer Syndrome! Xe also reclaims the slurs hermaphrodite, tranny, and faggot! And the bisexual part is canon, but this initial blurb is so long I wasn't sure how to add it neatly.
