THE FIRST SHADOW (West End) MENTIONED! IN AN OFFICIAL BOOK!
novak finally gets to justify his grandpa status as tennis fans(like me) have officially confirmed that rafa is sinner's son
No wonder civilization is so screwed up. The main god of the abrahamic religions all goes back to a god of war. Yahweh, an ancient god of war. If I understood my very, very basic research, he became the only god worshipped by the prehistoric israelites, and thus he became the all powerful god we know today. Pretty good deal for him. If this was a book series, he'd be the villain. Throwing his fellow gods under the bus so he could absorb all the glory... I guess it sounds like something a particularly arrogant god might do. But the fact that he watched as his chosen peoples butchered all the other religions and faiths of europe and africa and asia and the americans... not a good look. He was greedy, and he demanded sacrifice and worship.
You know, I would read a book about this. I just know that the book would be decreed blasphemous, because it'd definitely be implying that the christian, jewish and muslim god is all the same selfish god who betrayed his fellow gods. But then again...there are some pretty dark songs about God. Randy Newman's God's Song is almost a good starting point for this book. Just Yahweh as this selfish bastard who's killed off almost all the other old caannite gods. El, Baal, all those others have been either driven into exile or demonized or forgotten by society. And then there's one protagonist who ends up being a child of one of these old caannite gods. So then yahweh tries to get them killed, and our protagonist stumbles into their heritage. And now we have a new book series, albeit one that's not very nice to the God of the abrahamic faiths. I think this could be a really interesting book series, albeit one that's controversial.
I like Liushen and Cumplane fics, but in the sense they are all strictly friends with no romantic or sexual feelings between them, but keep getting put in romantically/sexually charged situations. It's infinitely funny to me. I don't even think LQG has any sort of romantic feelings for SQQ, people just can't appreciate close friends who would do a lot for each other.
Bingqiu is still my OTP!!! <3
I mean, you like what you like, but I wanna know when people started using ship names to talk about friendships
the people saying and artist’s drawing peri’s wand as a cane, THAT IS SO SO COOL!!!!
volcano shake em up feels like. smoking 5 blunts at once while getting your back blown out by some firefighter you met an hour earlier after reporting the grand arson you committed as some accidental fire you saw while out 'for a walk'
Toshi: You can feel what I feel, you know it to be true.
Yanni knew they were right, he could easily feel that Toshi was being truthful, but it was still more complicated. They looked over at Derek, noticing the confused look that they had noticed on his friends more and more since the whole ordeal. They were snapped out of their thoughts as he felt Toshi take his hand, he felt tired still, even with their heart there healing him. At the same time he found his other hand taken by Derek. Toshi: We want you to stay here with us. Also.. I have to ask this, can this heartlight connection thing, can it affect more than one? I know it shouldn’t be possible, but I am fairly sure Derek feels things for you as well. Yanni. You're not joking? Toshi: About what? Yanni: Both? Toshi: No… They stand there for a while, before the awkward silence is broken by someone that at least two of them didn’t expect to join in.
