So after taking the serum Grant has health complications despite having a perfect body (to Jason’s eyes and most people, which is great for his ego) and superhuman habilites he can't really use without feeling overexertion, in the middle of mercenary work which is mostly intel gathering he meets Jason "Crime Lord, Red Hood" Todd.
They charm each other immediately, Grant with his overconfident attractiveness and Wilson rizz™, Jason with his witt, his obsessive (bat patented) and passionate nature.
Watch them fall out of the dynamic they automatically built around power/transaction and gratification/possession and actually fall for each other.
I'm thinking particularly on a abo/verse because gender roles, but anything works honestly.

Edit: Grant is Slade's (Deathstroke) first born, who got killed for his dad to have some angst (sort of like Jason did)
I think Grant would have some misplaced anger about Rose's origin.
Like his dad straight up had another child with another woman and I think he'd be very conflicted about it to the point of blaming Rose for it in some sort of solidarity with Adeline.
But then he'd met Rose and be like... You're just an embryo, a tiny thing.
And then confusion because technically now he's a a big brother; of a little sister and he wouldn't know how to backpedal from the bad treatment he couldn't help but hold against Rose and he ends up being weirdly protective on her... Which ends up with him awkwardly (for everyone but him) cockblocking her, and attempting to protect her.
Which of course gives Rose whiplash and has her incredible confused because... 'You called me a bastard last week???'
Hence an exasperated but patient Joey explaining to her that... Yeah, he's just like... That™ and that's how he expreses affection.
