The Shepherd’s Crown by Terry Pratchett The only one out of all these new books that wasn’t a pre-order. I’m reading Discworld again and when I looked for Unseen Academicals in my bookcases, I realized I didn’t have this one yet, and I can’t have that, can I?
The Furthest Station by Ben Aaronovitch A Rivers of London short story! Because one can never read too much of this series. (I actually got this a week late because someone *glares at Dutch postal services* lost my package)
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green A book with a main character with anxiety written by someone with anxiety!
All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater Pretty excited for this one! I’ve so far managed to avoid any and all spoilers for it, and I hope that will continue until I’ve read it.
Not Your Villain by C.B. Lee I’m so excited!!! I loved Not Your Sidekick, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting this sequel! (I haven’t started it yet, but will once I’ve finished Unseen Academicals)
Changing Colors by Elyse Springer Pretty sure this is the final book of the series. The series I haven’t actually started yet. (I know all the books are standalone, but I can’t read them out of order. I just can’t.)

When I heard about this #ownvoices asexual f/f romance, I knew I had to read it. And I'm so glad I did!
In this book we get to meet Abby, a librarian girl who is biromantic asexual; and Gabrielle, a famous actress and model who is also bi (I think?). And it's great to see two apparently so different people discovering they have lots of things in common, and slowly falling in love with each other.
I love how their relationship evolves (and how they grow up as individuals as well), how they open up to each other little by little (even though they both have trust issues), and how they talk about and respect boundaries.
The writing might not be the best and the story is a bit predictable, but it's still a cute and important read, and I especially appreciate that the author explores asexuality in such an open, positive, and respectful way.
Thaw is the second book in the Seasons of Love series, but you can read it as a standalone.
