You want a story where a mortal beats a god at their own game? But in a way that doesn’t make the hero look weak, stupid or reckless and doesn’t make the villain lose their power and aura? Think Andromeda’s confrontation against Poseidon in that retelling is dumb and that Epic the Musical did Poseidon dirty? Take notes from Dreamworks Sinbad
Hi, hope you're well 🌙🕯️ I'm so desperate to have any 1H placements that I checked if any asteroids land there. 😭 I found Eris in my 1H. What kind of influence do you think this has? ✨
Eris in 1st house
For anyone who is reading and interested in booking a reading 🖤.
Hi again, how are you? 🌻 it can be very powerful. The 1st house is tied to your identity and how others see you and how you move through the world. Eris brings themes of discord, disruption and stirring the pot, so when she’s in the 1st, that energy often becomes part of your personal presence. People see you as someone who challenges the status quo without even trying or someone who unsettles others simply by being authentic.
It doesn’t mean constant conflict but it does suggest that your very existence can shake things up. You could find that you attract situations where you have to assert yourself, defend your place or stand apart from the crowd. Eris also ties to resilience and the ability to survive and even thrive after being underestimated or excluded.
To shorten it a little 😂 Eris in the 1st makes you impossible to ignore. She can give you an edge that sets you apart but also a life path where you learn to own that disruptive power rather than let it be used against you.

Note: Eris was not worshipped in ancient times and she was generally avoided. In modern times, she has gained a following and her worship seems to be more focused on her chaotic nature than the strife and hardships she was known for in the ancient world.
- I see Eris In the vitriolic passion I become enthralled in when defending people and concepts that are being oppressed and attacked.
- I see Eris in the nuance of tricky arguments that one must consider if they are to stay reasonable and considerate when engaged in discourse.
- I see Eris when I confront those around me born and raised in a different time on their outdated and ignorant beliefs, even if that means arguing with them to do so.
- I see Eris in defending sensibility and education from those who intend to mottle it, and to spread lies and fallacies to cause a rise in panic and fear.
- I see Eris in the difficult conversations we must sometimes confront one another on, because we know it’s the right and responsible thing to do, even if it damages our relationship with the person we must meet with such interventions.

She slung her arms thoughtlessly around his neck, a proud Cheshire grin upon her lips. He returned hers with a slight smile, barely a parting of the lips in truth.
In a breath, he spoke her name. To any beyond the pairing, to mistake the word for a religious oath or the title of a sacred text would be simple, expected even.
He spoke with reverence. Speaking of the goddess he knew her to be, not quite the woman she was.
In Greek mythology, the winged goddess of discord, chaos and disorder. She had two manifestations: a dangerous and a benign one: Destructive Discord, causing wars, and Creative Discord, which was the spirit of competition and stimulated urgent action. It made carpenters envy carpenters, made every artist envy another, and yet love his own work. Eris arrived uninvited at the wedding of Peleus and Thetis and by throwing an apple with the inscription "For the Most Beautiful One" among the goddesses, she indirectly provoked the Trojan War, because it caused a dispute between Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, which was decided by Paris, who chose Aphrodite.
