The beach was great place to commence this beautiful day with the Elwood Beach Clean Up, organised by Sea Shepherd Marine Debris Campaign. This beach looks clean from this video, but it actually wasn’t, with thousands of pieces of broken down plastics and cigarette butts and plenty of other rubbish all through the sand. My best effort yet towards a plastic free, package free, zero waste lifestyle. Everything on the front of this table was refilled without any packaging; including chemical free, all natural dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, cleaning spray; coffee, rolled spelt, almonds and pine nuts. All the organic fruit and veggies were packed in this box with a little plastic free packaging around the apples and oranges.
