Some spider flowers I made for my recent fantasy world project thingy:

These flowers come in a variety of colors, though the black version is the most common. The rarest one is the green version. These flowers usually have small stems, unless they latch onto something else and grow off of that instead. The actual flower part is shaped like a spider. The shape is only slightly off, which is a defense against lots of bugs and even people. The stem is still green, even if the flower part is a different color. These flowers are not very common, but they aren’t exactly rare either. The flowers can make a really delicious tea for some reason! And no, the different colors do not mean different flavors. They also make a great decoration if you like the creepy vibe. (Or the bright colors too ig)

Five pieces I’ve done over the past month. These are purposefully rougher than usual, done using thicker pens, and were inspired by the energetic boost I got from attending a recent comic book expo. This is the most fun I’ve had with drawing architecture in a couple of years -- it’s lively, grotesque, and playful in all the ways that excite my eyes --, so I’ll be doing a lot more (probably gonna experiment with palettes a bit through pens and colored paper), uploading them to Patreon, and making some available for order as prints.

The victorious cast is like a pantheon of gods in. Religion Thats ritualizes performance and deception and only acknowledges two cardinal sins: mediocrity/pathetic nature and hubris.

Tori: goddess of victory/good fortune

Jade: goddess of death/suffering for art

Cat: goddess of childhood imagination

Andre: god of music

Beck: god of drama

Trina: goddess of hubris

Robbie: god of mediocrity

Rex: trickster Demi god goblin that haunts mediocrity with self pity

Any way I feel like this model might be could be model for sketching out belief systems in world building

Did you know? A good many standing castles are built upon even older castles or military forts.

Logically this usually means some old walls where built up painted and reinforced, or that some of the old stone got broken up and re-used to make new bricks for the castle.

However this is about fantasy which often works illogically, so why not make the building upon literal and more expansive.

Just imagine, Castle after castle build atop one another deciding till finally reaching and ancient and forgotten fort. And who knows maybe said occupiers of that fort once stole some ancient cursed artifact, who's evil is slowing rising to affect every layer of castle above.

This is the Library Spire. Not sure if that’s the name or design I want to go with but that’s what we’re doing for now. Not sure if the drawing conveys it, but this thing is honkin massive. Far taller than the forest canopy around it.
