WHAT IS THIS FICS NAME!!!!
Does anyone know the name of the fanfic where Young James, Remus, and Sirius find out Severus is in the order and has been for years while Fleamont, Euphemia, Dumbledore and basically everyone they know is part of the order has been saying there to young to join/can't.
It takes place when they are 14/15 maybe 16 (they still had some few years before graduating) and Snape's basically been a spy since he was like 12 and hanging out with the Malfoy's.
James feels betrayed by his parents and they all have to do some self reflection because when they found out about Snape they were basically called too childish and a liability.
They also start to feel guilty for bullying Snape because he's basically given up his childhood in the hopes of stopping Voldemort (including his relationship with Lily) so they repeatedly try to talk to him but he doesn't want to blow his cover so ignores or yells at them.
Snape is also very over powered and as the story went on its shown more and more that everyone is using Snape like Voldemort, Dumbledore, Lucius, the entire order, even James's parents who tell James later on in the story during a heated argument something they have never had before that they would
"rather have Severus die then him or Sirius"
Or something like that very out of character but it was like a really deep moment because it shows them the reality of the war that they have been glorifying in their heads is horrific. really "war is hell" stuff
I'm like 89% sure it's a Jeverus ship fic but I'm not 100% sure.
I'm also like 28% sure Bruce Mulciber and Severus had some sort of mild toxic relationship that James wanted to save him from but that might be a memory from another fic.
I remember they had to keep Snape being a spy a secret like Peter and lily couldn't know literally no one else but lily gets suspicious because "why do you like him now after everything" and Peter feels left out from this big secret and wants to know why.
lily and petunia were like Severus's sisters but don't talk anymore due to what he did and social pressure from both sides since Snape is a spy/death eater and people not liking Snape who was lily's best friend kinda made her an outcast.
I don't really know again this could be a part of another fic so I'll put it in red but Regulus' and Bellatrix are suspicious of Snape but for different reasons obviously.
Snape is Voldemort favourite and he's kinda creepy about it since he met Snape when he was 12 which makes Bellatrix hate Snape and basically every other pure blood family.
Regulus' wants to team up but never gets to tell Snape since it's taken from everyone but his POV so we all know he's good but they don't this part of the story isn't relevant much but still mentioned.
Also there is a chance this is something I made up in my head but I really don't know I feel like I read it somewhere
But if you know a fic that is similar or even slightly similar PLEASE tell me it's been on my mind forever and I just can't remember.
