Ok! Please help me find this Sterek fic! (technically it's a series) It's supposed to be like a world where the supernatural is known, and they have like these festivals where werewolves can meet people to find their mates, which is how Stiles and Derek meet. And some of the Hale family is alive (like Talia, Laura, Cora and Peter obvs) but they lost some of them including Peter's mate and Talia at first is like upset with Derek for choosing Stiles and Stiles gets all upset but Derek it's all like imma show you I'm right and he's my mate! And they get together and Stiles starts becoming the Den maker and the left hand in training because he like starts researching something that had to do with the Argents... Like guys, I remember a lot but I can't find it. I would believe this was probably an acid dream but I don't have that much imagination on my own. Peter and the Sheriff get together and adopt a kid!Mali! At some point Deucalion is there and he's married to Morell! My brain would not do that on it's own! This fic has to be out there!

Oh I hate reading a fic and realizing I have DEFINITELY read that before - and I have DEFINITELY not read it to the end but I do not remember WHY I dropped it back then.
Because it's like, do I trust Past Me and turn back right now? But something about it made me pick it up twice and so far it's not bad and tastes can change or depend on the mood so maybe I'll like it this time around?
But also what if I don't and Past Me was right and I will now waste my time rereading the still good part and then hit whatever made me drop it the first time and I'll drop it again but this time will also be mad at myself for wasting my time on the partial reread?

Absolutely devastating news from Australia that at least 11 people were killed in an antisemitic attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney. One of those who was murdered, Alex Kleytman z”l, was a Holocaust survivor. His wife, also a Holocaust survivor, saw as he was shot. I cannot imagine the grief and pain she and many others are feeling.
My heart is with all the victims and their loved ones, as well as the broader Jewish community in Australia. May the memories of the victims be a blessing.
We deserve to be able to congregate and observe Jewish holidays without fear of violence, in Australia and globally.
I also want to commend the courage of Ahmed al Ahmed, a man who happened to be walking by when the shooting began and rushed to disarm one of the shooters, despite being unarmed himself. Ahmed is the owner of a fruit shop and a father of two. He was shot twice during his brave intervention and is now in the hospital. I am praying for his swift recovery and the recovery of all the others who were injured in this attack.

merlin reboot idea except this time the main character is arthur and the show is called arthur
jk not that arthur, lol. anyway the pilot opens with an asmr inducing first scene of an unnamed protagonist emerging from a morning workout in the pool. as we see him get ready for the day, we hear faint whispers of a name, one we can’t quite understand, but he seems to recognize. he turns around but no one is there, only the audience sees a brief glimpse of a pale face with dark hair spread out around it in the reflection of the water. we follow him as he gets ready, but we never get a glimpse of his face. the seconds and music build up as he finishes his routine and heads to the university he teaches at. the keychain in his hands shines like the blade of a sword, and the hat he wears rests on his hair like a crown. we see his students greet him and learn he’s a bit of a favorite professor. the big reveal comes when he’s about to enter his office. the camera pans to the placard on the wall, which reads

in the dressing-down admiral cain gives maverick at the start of tg:m, he mentions that at this point in his career, maverick should be either a two-star admiral or a senator. i'd just like to highlight the absolute insanity of the second option there. can you IMAGINE that man in the senate?!
can you imagine senator pete mitchell on like one of the armed services committees or some shit, meeting with an admiral for some budget reason or something, and this admiral has to speak civilly with maverick like he's an equal. and he's politely mad about it the whole time. and maverick is just THRILLED that he finally gets to pull this shit on admiral fuckface.
can you imagine maverick campaigning, probably flying himself from engagement to engagement in his mustang? a campaign video that's exclusively just a gopro in the cockpit with a voiceover, and he's pulling the wildest shit he can just because he can.

okay so i just saw Secrets of Dumbledore and I am… emotional… I’ll put my spoiler thoughts (mainly about grindeldore… tbh ALL about grindeldore) under a cut if anyone cares but first I just want to say… wow… the heart of this movie really WAS a gay love story and… it was far more gay than I even expected. Jude and Mads carried this movie on their backs. They are perfect. Jude is my favorite iteration of Albus Dumbledore and Mads really brought out a humanity and also a strange… gentle cruelty in Gellert that I am absolutely in love with… more thoughts (SPOILERS) under the cut.
