Ingredients: 1 block of firm tofu. Clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Heavy object like a cast iron skillet or books.
Instructions: Remove the tofu from its packaging and drain any excess liquid. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel or layers of paper towels. Place the wrapped tofu on a flat surface. Put a heavy object, such as a cast iron skillet or books, on top of the wrapped tofu to press it. Let the tofu press for at least 20-30 minutes to remove excess moisture. You can press it longer for a firmer texture. Once pressed, unwrap the tofu and proceed with marinating or cooking as desired.
