Summary: After being pulled out of the Framework and in dire need of some comfort, Fitz decides to go in search of his partners, Bobbi and Hunter.

Sneak-Peak:
After asking for them, he panicked more than once, thinking that he was putting them at risk just out of a selfish need, but when they sent May the coordinates of where to drop him, they added a small message addressed to him: If we said you could reach out whenever you needed, we meant it. Stop freaking out over this. He is still not fully convinced it was the smartest idea, but it definitely was exactly what he needed.
âIâm sorry.â He cries against Hunterâs chest and takes Bobbiâs hands to his mouth to press his lips against her knuckles. âIâm sorry, but I couldnât stand being there without you.â
Here are my card and my masterpost. Iâm accepting prompts for it and also for my MCU Bingo Card.
May offers Fitz to teach him how to fly the Zephyr
@theclaravoyant and I were talking about how emotional we both are about Zephyr One, and she mentioned wanting May to teach Fitz how to fly it. We are both in the habit of spoiling each other, and I have been wanting to write something May for a while, so I wrote this.
Mentions the FD trauma, the Framework trauma and panic attacks.Â
This also fits @leofitznetwork monthly challenge: May is for Mothers.
Itâs not after they have decided that they are actually leaving that she takes the decision. They have a lot on their plates: looking for new jobs and a house, everything they can arrange to try to ease the shock of the change, and dealing the best they can with Daisyâs resentment, who is not really happy with having them- him- here, but still loves them enough to be mad about seeing them leave; but because they are juggling a lot, and are stretching themselves thin over the most menial details, May knows this is the right time.
She waits till she is sure that Simmons is out to go looking for him in their room; May doesnât believe this is something shameful, but this is about him, and it is difficult to enforce their entity as two separate human beings when they are together.
May knocks on the door twice, and though she waits for his answer to open it, when she peers inside Fitz is rushing to close the browser on his laptop, like looking through real estates in Scotland is a crime. May thinks that maybe they all have an internalized set of priorities that forces them to feel like it is, and that is one of the many things she wants to snap them out of; it might be too late for her, but she refuses to believe it is too late for them.
@cardb0rdeaux ha respondido a tu publicaciĂłn: Hey, peeps, because of reasons Iâm wanting to try...
Fitzmack please? Iâve always loved that moment from season 2 when Fitz implies that he finds him attractive and the height/size difference is hella cute. :)
Here you go! Sorry it took me so long, writing has been coming at me slowly. This is pre-relationship, but Iâm more than willing to take on more prompts for these two or other Fitz-ships, if anyone wants to read more.
Also fits the prompt âfoodâ for @aosadvent2017.
Not matter what Hunter implies- and also what Hunter very explicitly says; and believe him, Hunter can get very explicit-, there are a ton of reasons why this could end in disaster, including but not limited to:
His feelings for Jemma are vox populi, and even though everyone proclaims that they want nothing more than to help him get over them, when the moment of words turning into practical help comes, nobody is actually willing to do what needs to be done.
He has no knowledge about whether Mack is or isnât into guys, and he is not counting Hunter commentary as factual proof.
He is, well, himself, and everything he does turns into a messy mess quicker than he can snap his fingers (and he is getting better and better at snapping his fingers).
Characters: Daisy Johnson, Alphonso Mackenzie, Elena Rodriguez, Jemma Simmons, Melinda May, Phil Coulson, Leo Fitz, Agent Piper
Rating: Gen
Summary:Â The team takes the first chance they get to take a break once everyone is out of the Framework; which in this case, is a trip to the beach.Â
Notes: Written for the âat the beachâ prompt over at @aosficnet2
Also, instead of pie - they go to the beach
âI mean it. I think this is the first step in us starting to heal. Just look around at everyone.â
Doing as Jemma suggested, she couldnât help smiling as she watched Mack and Elena splash each other while Fitz and Coulson cooled off in the water just far enough that they were out of danger. Then her eyes wandered over to where May and Piper were walking along the edge of the ocean, deep in conversation but not a serious one as Piper laughed at something May said.
âYouâre right. We really needed this.â
Just lying in the sun on the beach felt like all the stress and pain were melting off of her shoulders.
âItâs definitely worth dragging sand back to the base and dealing with it for ages because you know, its gonna get in everything.â
Jemma sighed.
âMaybe we can get Fitz to upgrade the vacuum cleaners to easily suck up any and all sand.â
Adjusting her sunglasses, she went back to watching the team enjoy the water when Mack caught her attention by waving his arm.
âCome on, Jem. I think the others want us to join them in the water.â
Summary:Â Fitz decided to go back home after Jemma left, and he is slowly making peace with the idea of a life without S.H.I.E.L.D. That doesn't mean that the family he made within will not want to visit, especially for his birthday.
Notes: Written for @emofitz for Fitzâs Birthday Exchange at @leofitznetwork
Sneak-Peak:
Until three days later, when he is coming home late from dinner with his mum, and May is sitting on his doorstep in all her black leather glory with a cake box that looks like it has seen much better days on her hand.
âMay? Is everyone okay?â He wants to drag her inside as quickly as possible- if there is any kind of emergency, he would like to deal with it in private-, but his hands are shaking too much, and all he can do is look nervously to one side and then to the other.
âCalm down.â Her voice is cool as always, but her hands are gentle when they take the keychain from him. She opens the door, leads him inside with a soft shove, and only speaks again when the door is closed. âEverything is fine.â She makes a pause, and Fitz thinks about how to pinch himself in the most discreet possible way, just to be sure that he is not dreaming. âHappy birthday, Fitz.â
Sequel to I ate you up the day we first spoke. Can be read as an stand-alone.Â
Summary:Â Fitz has a question to ask and Hunter has some issues to work through. With a little help from their friends, they try to find a middle ground to remember that they are great together in many ways.
For @theclaravoyant for the "You've been quiet." prompt.
Sneak-Peak:
âEverything? Like it or not, Bob, we were a mess, a barely working mess.â She raises her eyebrows, but doesnât say anything to contradict him, because they both know he is right. âWhat do I know about being married to someone? About being a loving husband in sickness and in health and all that bullshit?â
He inhales sharply. He freaked out when Fitz asked- thanks God he is sensible enough to know better than to do a flashy, public proposal-, turned around and left, turning off his phone and going to hide in Bobbi and Jemmaâs apartment. Only later, in between beers, he had started to process why that was his immediate reaction. Â Â
âI love him too much to sentence him to me and my, as you said, unwillingness to commit.â
Fitz and Trip have a much needed conversation after the silent jealousy battles. (for my sista theclaravoyant who just finished her last essay!)
Itâs petty jealousy, he knows that, but he doesnât care enough to stop. Not when Simmons is smiling up at Trip like that, and heâs standing far too close to her for this to still be considered just friendly.
Sheâs supposed to be in the lab helping him take apart the weapons Coulson had recovered on the recent HYDRA raid not patching up Trip when he was clearly in tip top shape. Alright, so a bullet did graze his arm, but it wasnât anything serious, nothing that required a long conversation and laughter long after Trip had shrugged his shirt back on.
Itâs easy to focus back on the weapons though, science had always been a good distractor and now wasnât any different. They work late into the night, as usual, and by the time everyone starts to retire to bed they had only gotten through about half of the new acquisitions, but they decided to call it a night, anyway.
Fitz lingers under the hot spray of the shower longer than usual, scrubbing his hands over his face in an attempt rid himself of the memories of earlier. When those attempts proved futile, he finally steps out and decides that maybe sleep would be a better option.
Unfortunately, sleep didnât seem to help either. He tossed and turned for a good hour before finally calling it quits in a fit of frustration. If he wasnât able to speak sleep, then he might as well continue working.
He didnât bother to dress properly, not when sweatpants and an oversized jumper were so comfortable. Of course, things donât go as planned this time either, because on his way to the lab he passes the kitchen and catches the attention of none other than Trip.
âFitz?â
In his defense, Fitz tried to slip past unnoticed, he really did, but he supposes fooling a trained field agent is easier said than done.
âYeah.â His response sounds far more hostile than he means to, and he wants to blame it on the time of night but he knows that itâs not the least bit true.
Trip doesnât seem fazed by it though, he simply takes another sip of the beer heâs nursing and leans back against the kitchen chair.
âWhatâre you doing still up?â
âI-I couldnât really sleepâŠI was gonna go work on some things in the lab.â
Trip arches his eyebrows in interest at those words and tips his head towards the empty seat across from him, inviting him in.
Fitz wants to decline, thereâs nothing good that can come out of a conversation together. Trip insists though, and Fitz finds himself powerless to refuse so he slips inside the kitchen and takes a seat across from him.
Trip silently stands up and grabs another beer from the fridge, popping it open before sliding it over to him.
Two in the morning doesnât seem like an appropriate time to drink beer, but Fitz is trying to be polite in lieu of the oncoming conversation and takes a few small sips.
Trip watches his careful, sipping at his own beer. When the awkward silence becomes almost too much to bear for both of them, he finally
decidesspeaks up.
âYou donât like me.â
Itâs straightforward and holds far too much truth for Fitzâs liking. Even though itâs the truth he wants to argue, but Trip shakes his head and flashes him an amused smile in order to silence him.
âI saw you today,â he continues, âI saw you staring at me and Simmons when we were talking.â
Fitz doesnât bother trying to speak up again, he instead sinks back into his chair and waits for Trip to continue.
âI get it, man. Sheâs your girl. I promise Iâll keep my hands off her.â
Fitz actually falters at that, shaking his head almost frantically and trying to dismiss that idea.
âSheâs not â weâre not â weâre not together. Weâre just friends.â
Admitting that hurts far more than he had anticipates, but itâs the cold truth and if Trip is willing to the initiative and apologize despite having no real reason to then he should at least return the favor and tell him the truth.
He seems shocked by that, flashing Fitz a skeptical look thatâs soon enough replaced by one of understanding, although it looks more like pity to Fitz.
âOh.â
Fitz casts his eyes down at that, licking his lips in a nervous fashion as his fingers play with the neck of the beer bottle. This isnât something he would have ever wanted to admit to anyone, not even himself, if he could help it. It only made the feelings more real. He can only hope that Trip would be sympathetic enough to keep it to himself.
âSimmons would be lucky to have a guy like you.â
Fitz looks up sharply at that, finding Trip looking over at him with a genuine smile that doesnât fit this conversation and at the same time it does because heâs Trip.
âShe talks a lot about you, you know.â
Comfort isnât something he would have thought would come out of this conversation, and yet despite the tightens in his chest after making such a confession, Tripâs words numb the pain and he allows himself to flash him a small smile.
