Talk about the most peculiar breakfast combination ever: today I cooked 1 1/4 cups of @arrowheadmills green lentils with shredded carrots, @traderjoes turmeric, cinnamon, curry powder, onion powder, and garlic powder, filled that up in a bowl and garnished it with crushed red peppers. I also broiled white mushrooms, zucchini, and butternut squash from @cpcampusdining markets to have on a giant plate with organic ketchup on the side! 🥒🍲🍠 Oh look, and there's that gloriously delicious and magically chocolatey @wholefoods vegan donut as provided by the lovely members of the @ethicaleatingcp! 🌱🍩 At first, I was a little conflicted. I've been stepping up my fitness gains for the past week, seeing incredible progress, and feeling better than ever. But I discovered that this would be the only time I could ever snag a treat, despite it not being Friday or Saturday. So, I followed my burning desire and retrieved not one, but two vegan donuts (one was for a friend)! A couple of years ago, I would have stored my donut away in the kitchen, given it to a roommate, or disposed it out of guilt. If I was really generous, I would have eaten a forkful or half of it. Nope. I ate the entire chocolate carb-sugar-fat-delicious-and-soul-filling delicacy. 🍩🍫 I was a bit regretful afterwards, but honestly, life goes on, and now I have nothing serious planned. I didn't binge on anything else or try to purge the donut whatsoever. Yeah, I'm the "superfitbabe", but I've learned along the years of adopting a much healthier lifestyle that I don't always need to be precisely regimented to clean food and strenuous exercise.
