I know it’s over, but I’m STILL stuck on the whole melvalds thing. If it was just that one mention then yeah, I’d just write it off as terrible writing and a huge continuity error.

But it WASNT just that one scene—the store was in the shot of the demogorgon hanging over Mike when Will saved him.

How in the holiest of fucks could they specifically put melvalds in the scene where Will saves Mike, it gets brought up 3 eps later in his coming out scene, AND wsqk radio said that melvalds doesn’t sell milkshakes, just for it all to be nothing?

I don’t know what their original plan was, but something happened. Maybe the divorce, maybe Netflix, maybe pussying out, I don’t know. But something. That was supposed to be significant.
