Happy #InternationalNursesWeek to all of my amazing friends & colleagues. I am only at the beginning of my journey & I can't imagine doing anything else...but nurses all over the world they go to work 24hrs a day 365 days of the year sacrificing many hours with their own families & loved ones to keep our loved ones alive, safe, pain free, comfortable, fed, educated, supported & entertained through the best & worst days of our lives all throughout history...as a nurse, it is an incredible privilege to be able to walk patients & families through those days & the rewards are endless...as a colleague, thank you to all the incredible men & women I have studied & work with, you are inspirational, amazing & beautiful humans & I am blessed to have you in my life....as a consumer, thank you to those who have touched my life in so many ways & inspired me to be the best nurse I can possibly be. 📸: via google on the interweb (although it looks a lot like my "office" at the moment)
