Just to warn you all.

I've been without internet since Friday night. The company doesn't pick up my calls, and the only way of contacting them has been a horrible AI chat that just regurgitates the same lie that the service will be normalized within two hours. That since last Friday night.

I don't know what happened or when the service will be normalized. It could be within a few more hours, a few more days, or even a few more weeks. This company left us without service for fucking 15 days back in 2020.

Last time it was because crackheads kept stealing cables from the telephone poles. We knew that because back then at least they had human beings for us to enter in contact with, but now everything is through AI, and there's zero transparency or human contact. We are completely in the dark.

And to make matters worse, today it's raining, and judging by the company, they don't pay their technicians enough to work in these circumstances. They probably will leave us fucked for a few more days. It's not like it will make a difference.

I only have my cellphone data with me, and even that is limited.

So if I disappear for a few days, weeks. If I miss Halloween and all is because my internet provider has very shitty services and doesn't give a flying fuck about their customers.

So, until second notice, goodbye 😔

The AO3 Curse Finally Got Me!

So yesterday, I was all set to update my fics before class when my internet suddenly died.

At first, I thought it was just the college Wi-Fi acting up again, so I figured I’d just upload everything once I got home. But when I got home… still no internet. I tried all the usual fixes—resetting the router, checking cables, the whole routine—but nothing worked.

Then I checked my emails and nearly had a panic attack. There was a message saying my internet service was going to be terminated because I hadn’t paid. Which I knew wasn't true—but I was so stressed, I started second-guessing myself.

Anyways I called customer service.

Thankfully, I got a super sweet and helpful lady (bless her) who confirmed that the problem was on their end. Still no idea what actually went wrong tho.

To make things worse, Google Docs decided to randomly save an older version of my drafts, so I lost some of the new content. So now I have to delay my fic update—sorry!😭😭😭

So long story short Ao3 has to use psychological torture on me, because it couldn’t get me in the wild.
