This mixture of feelings... Fear and Hope. They’ve been embroiled in some kind of battle for a while now... Hope’s not too bad, but it seems like Fear has a bit of the upper hand.

Intuitive ISFP
Tbh my ISFP friend could produce more abstract ideas than me, he upbringing it into our conversation and I was like “wth”. I’m a Ne user but I had never thinking something like that. I’m doubting his and my MBTI. Until one ISxP post come across my dashboard, s/he talking about something random and abstract ideas too. Then I’m ensured that it’s not only my ISFP who did that.
Oh yea, then, once my ISFP talking about a conspiracy too. He talking with an INTJ in our group chat, so I could watch what he had done. He talked about yea, connection between things (game theory mostly). And also meaning between things. But he had collected the evidence before, which is the result of Se thinking activity—that I wouldn’t do because I second-guessing all the time and won’t mess with details. Or I just remembering it by using Si, not re-researching it like Se. But still I’m confused that a SP can be more intuitive than me.
I was wondering if you could help me understand my Ni? I read your post about Ni/Ne but I'm still having trouble with it. Maybe it's just because I'm tired? I feel I have a pretty good grasp on Ti, I can definitely understand my Se, and Fe I get the idea but still struggle with using it properly. But Ni is just completely lost to me... ISTP, Enneagram 5w4, tritype 145, and Sp/Sx (So-blind). Please and Thank you.
The last post explaining Ni vs Ne was my take on their basic characteristics. From this ask, I am assuming you wish to know how Ni works in assistance with the other functions in an ISTP, not just in general as I explained before, correct? I can give some examples here based on my ISTP sister and ISFP friend, but if there is something you can’t specifically understand about your Ni, I’m going to need more specifics.
Exercising the tertiary function is generally done purposefully in a way that is entertaining for someone developing that function. So, with tertiary Ni, it will shine through when an ISxP is being playful. Ni is seen more often when an ISxP creates very select, long-term goals, or when they observe people and the environment.
My sister MUST get married despite being a very independent person, and my friend had planned her 18th birthday trip to NYC since she was five years old even though she doesn’t usually bother to look at a clock or calendar in her day-to-day life. If we are observing people out of boredom, their Se (and additionally in the ISTP’s case, inferior Fe) likes to guess people’s motivations or guess an event that may happen as a result of someone’s immediate actions; “future-telling” is very fun for them, and my sister insists that she and my family are “psychic” (two dominant Ni-users, one dominant Si-user, and her, the tertiary Ni-user). In certain moments, they can become very philosophical, discuss ideas of morality or circumstances of the physical world, and/or try to purposefully get “lost” in the nebulousness of tertiary Ni.
They’re both still fairly young, so in an older person with tertiary Ni, it’s going to be more apparent. Of course, a lot of these things are just speculation on my part since I’m still fairly young as well and have not met an older ISxP as far as my horrible memory can recall.Self-made schedules may be more frequent or stricter than when they were younger. Taking into account other people’s motivations is going to be easier and probably more accurate. They may enjoy abstract ideas more, which their higher Se now does a more efficient job of fueling.
I feel really bad for my aux Se sometimes because my anxiety causes me to neglect it far more often than I’d like
