nOw, let’s talk about my favourite fanon and canon relationships from the Golden Trio era.

First up, is Hinny. Bi panic. Hinny is definitely one of the best heterosexual relationships in the entire franchise. Although, I feel like before the sixth book, there wasn’t really much of a build up, besides her being his best friend’s brother, and his friend, there wasn’t much of a build up when it came to their relationship. I think Joanne should’ve made more build up to Hinny potentially turning into a real relationship in the end, because it was basically only Ginny being madly in love with Harry, and him not returning these feelings whatsoever. But when it came to the sixth book and seventh book, omg, I can’t express my love for them. The way Harry cared, and thought about Ginny in those two books was a HUGE step from the other books. Harry becomes a my poet when it comes to Ginny, “Blissful oblivion and better than fire whisky. Honestly, they loved each other so much, and I love their relationship, and I can’t explain why.

Next, is MY LOVES, Dean and Seamus. At this point, they are 100% lovers. I absolutely their relationship in the movies and in the books. I feel like in the movies, the two were never seen without the other, and I haven’t read the books in a while, so I don’t remember anything from before the fourth book. But I love everything about it. I love their personalities. I love how they supported each other, and never really went COMPLETELY against each other. I love the idea of being each other’s closest friends, and then realising that they’re in love with each other. I love it. I love it. I love it. I just genuinely love the idea of best friends to lovers, so much, if you haven’t noticed. speaking of these two, i also really like lavender and parvarti. they’re soulmates 100%.

i adore the idea of blaise and neville, because i don’t think there was ever a really bad moment with them, two. but then again, there was never really a time in the books at all where they talked, but obviously they crossed each other’s paths. and i know they probably didn’t like each other all that much, canonically. but are we really going to listen to joanne’s homophobic ass anyway. anywho, i think they’re both introverts, but blaise is very “posh” kind of guy. he’s definitely a blood supremacist. he’s the type to always act taught, but when it comes to neville, those awkward, cute, obsessed with herbology type of guy, he melts, and absolutely adores him. he’s over-protective of neville, and loves to stand up for him when it comes to the other Slytherins bullying him. neville is so grateful to have blaise in his life, and loves him, too.

i like romione. i love romione. i don’t really give a shit what people have to say, and i don’t want to hear a word from ron haters, or harmione stans. this ship is perfect. if you’ve read the books, you would know how much the two care for each other, and how much they love each other. ron ALWAYS stood up for hermione when other people would say stuff about her, including snape and draco. he always got jealous when he saw her with other guys, and obviously he wanted to be the one who was with her. (viktor was a creep btw). and hermione clearly liked ron, too. she was jealous when he would simp over fleur, and when he got with lavender, which he only did to prove ginny wrong, or make her jealous. she had completely the wrong approach when it came to how she treated lavender, but you could tell the two were great together, and deserved each other.

i ADORE astoria and draco’s relationship. i LOVE it. i like how astoria is this really kind woman, who is a pure blood Slytherin, herself, but doesn’t give a shit about it. she thinks of everyone as equals, and although draco didn’t agree with any of this before, he changed his whole beliefs, and became a much better man for her. they were definitely soulmates. i genuinely hate draco, but i’m so glad he found his way to astoria, because he did change, for the better, and you’d think draco malfoy would never love someone else more than he loves himself, but he was willing to end his whole bloodline to keep her healthy, and he was most likely a great father to scorpius.

i also love tonks and fleur but MY WHOLE HEART belongs to fleur and bill’s relationship. honestly, they are everything. they were so so great together, and despite their 5 year age different (i think), they are a very very great pairing. i think, fleur and bill love each other both so so much, and i think you can see that in the books, and a little in the movies. fleur really is in love with bill, and was from the moment she saw him. i’m saying this again, they - are - everything. and continued to love him even when he had those horrible scars all over his face, and really loved that it was real love, and not just lust. i’m so glad in the end, their families got along, and bill and fleur got to be happy together, because that’s exactly what they deserve.

OK the other ships are ALRIGHT, but LADIES - AND - GENTLEMEN - AND NON BINARY’S, PERCIEVER, percy and oliver. they are PERFECTION. absolute perfect together, perfect pairing. EVER. percy is obviously, as we know and seen, is this really uptight, asshole about his studies type of guy, and cares about them a lot. to him, it would to worry about anything else other than that. i expect he’s a complete clean freak, and is completely obsessed with keeping order around their dormitory. but then there’s oliver, uptight about quidditch, and is completely obsessed, it would be a crime to be obsessed with quidditch. percy and oliver are not complete opposites, because of their personalities, but are freaks about completely different things. i imagine oliver would have a messy room, but wouldn’t care because “he can’t be late for Quidditch practice” and percy would tell him “there’s more important things than quidditch”. however weird this is, they become besties, and end up falling in love with each other.

“Where is Oliver? He’s usually the first one here”, Fred asks curiously, glancing at the field. George shrugged before muttering, “If he gets on our case about being late ever again, i swear” as they both walked into the locker room to change.

They soon hear noises near the back of the locker room, and after looking at each other, Fred grins and says, “Well dear brother, time to break up the lovefest. What do you say?”. George chuckled and said, “Well, of course”.

They slowly walked over, planning to surprise the couple. They soon saw Oliver making out with some red head.

“Oi Wood.”, Fred called out, smirking at the Scot as he blushed and moved apart from the red head.

“Holy shit. You’re snogging my brother.”, George says, shocked as Percy came out from behind Oliver, quickly turning redder than his hair.

“How long”, Fred asks, his eyes wide.

Oliver grinned. “Six months tomorrow”, he replied, throwing his arm around Percy, who just smiled a bit.

“I cannot believe this”, George said.

Fred slowly nodded.

Seeing this, Percy laughs and whispered to Oliver, “If this is the twins’s reactions, I can’t wait to see the rest of the other’s reactions.”

Oliver chuckles and smiles. “Neither can I. Neither can I.”
