I have broken and now im writing a benrius fic.

is it a one-shot? maybe. do i know if it isnt? nope. do i have a plot planned? not really.

I didn’t feel the slightest concern for Ben in season four of JWCT, I knew they wouldn’t dare kill off a main character and that erased any of my sympathy and worry for him. Why spend time worrying if he would just end up miraculously living anyway?

Honestly my main reason for me absolutely hating season four, it was SO underwhelming and stupidly overhyped imo.

That’s fair. It definitely lost a lot of traction once Santos was out of the picture for some reason. I feel like while the first three seasons had a definitive objection, the last season felt more like the characters just stumbling through a series of random events.

Darius: How about we play a game? We can use the trivia cards I brought with me.

Kenji: Dude, you just carry those around in your pocket?

Sammy: You know, I wouldn't mind playing. It could be fun.

Brooklynn: Yeah, you would think that.

Ben: Uh… I'm just going to stick to drawing.

Kenji: Yeah, I'm out too. Sorry Darius, but just because we're on treehouse arrest doesn't mean the go-to should be a pop quiz.

Yasmina: Well, if Sammy's playing I'm playing.

Brooklynn: Whatever, I'll play too. It's not like I have my phone to go on or anything.

Yasmina: So it's two verses one then?

Kenji: Well, I mean, if you're doing teams, I guess I could-

Brooklynn: No.

Kenji: Keep score. I was going to say I could keep score.

Yasmina: Sure you were.

Darius: Okay, well, um, let's start! Does anyone know what the first named dinosaur was?

Sammy: Ooh! I know this one! It was the Megalosaurus, in 1824.

Darius: Hey, that's right Sammy!

Brooklynn: Hmm, it's so interesting that you know that.

Yasmina: Is there a problem that she does?

Brooklynn: I'm just making an observation.

Yasmina: Right… What's the next one, Darius?

Darius: Oh, uh, what is the largest dinosaur?

Yasmina: Is it Brooklynn's ego?

Brooklynn: Real mature.

Sammy: Is it, uh, the Giganotosaurus?

Darius: No, it's not. Any other guesses?

Brooklynn: Maybe it's bag of lies Sammy's dragging around.

Yasmina: Oh my God. Brooklynn. She didn't steal your phone!

Brooklynn: Yes she did!

The two go back to arguing and Darius turns to Kenji,

Darius: So, uh, Cian left in a hurry. What do you think she's doing?

Kenji: Eh, maintenance checks can mean anything from broken fences to a scratch in the glass. But, uh, whatever's Cian doing, it's probably way more fun than this.
