Chaos Theory Hot Take:

If they took Yaz's concussion seriously in season 2, I would have been more scared for Ben in season 4.

Like Ben was hurt, sure, but the N6 never face consequences for injuries so the fear was minimal at best.

But can you imagine the fear we would have felt if Yaz was seriously injured in season 2? Even if they didn't go with concussion or had her get banged up and needing medical attention to show "hey, there are stakes now"

Also how cruel would it have been to have Ben's breathing out scene VS Yaz breathing more comfortably from a hospital bed as she recovered. The parallel would have SENT me.

I genuinely love the idea of Yaz and Ben having grown up in mixed religion households.

Maybe its just being from a mixed religion family in general but I also genuinely think its a fun thing that we dont see a lot of in media.

Yaz is heavily headcannoned as Lebanese, which has a pretty diverse religious landscape and depending on the other countries you headcannon her parents as being from before they immigrated to the US Yaz could have a mixed Muslim, Christian, Jewish, whatever your headcannon is household.

Ben's usually headcannoned as Jewish, but a Jewish-Christian mix or dipping into mixed Jewish Catholic or whatever combo again you headcannon his parents as.

So when Ben gets hit by a dinosaur tail its an emergency and he almost died BUT when Yaz gets hit she dusts herself off and fights off more dinosaurs while waiting to be rescued by her girlfriend.

Yaz should have told Ben to get his white boy ass up and stand on business because getting hits not that bad.

REALLY late to the party cause ive been insanely busy lately but i finally finished s4 of jwct and my god the ben and kenji scenes in the latter half of the season would have caused the benji fans on twitter back in the jwcc days to have an aneurysm. like??? this is just a fraction of what was going on hello?

Jwcc au where ben DOESNT follow the smoke because he thinks it’s just malfunctioning machinery (he knows there’s battery powered stuff on the island, like, cmon) and so he never meets back up with the rest of the survivors and just. Lives on the island when the others finally escape.
