—In which, after waking up in bed with a certain someone, you start to question things.

You didn’t open your eyes when you woke up. Your head ached, absolutely pounding.

Fucking wine.

And even tho you had a hangover that was just as bad as a kidney stone, the warmth you felt around you was intoxicating. It had you sighing softly and curly further into said warmth.

Except, said warmth loved.

Said warmth had a heartbeat.

Said warmth smelled fucking amazing and painfully familiar.

Forcing your eyes open, your whole body tensed when you were met with a muscular chest. Then the feeling of strong arms wrapped around you registered—

Oh shit.

Immediately, you sat up so fast it had Gojo jolting away. His voice rough and gravelly from sleep, his eyes squinting as he looked up at you. “What’s wrong, sweets?”

“You— You. WHY are you in my bed?” You tore at out bed so fast you were tripping over your own feet. Almost busting your ass as you yanked on a hoodie over your shirt and a pair of sleep shorts. “Did we— oh god. Oh no.”

Your skin crawled. You were mad. So mad. Mad and sick. Your stomach hurt. Why did you do this?

“What? No. You got drunk last night off wine, and I took you home. You kept whining about wanting me to stay so… I did.” Gojo shrugged and rubbed his eyes, before sitting up, back against the head board.

“..oh.” Now, that anger was replaced by embarrassment and that sick feeling only deepened.

Ok. So this is my fault.

“Relax, we didn’t do anything.” Gojo crossed his arms, biceps flexing as he did, “but we could if you wanted to.” He winked.

“You are insufferable.” You rolled your eyes, finally calming down. Putting a hand on you temple, trying to calm the migraine— you made your way into the kitchen. “This is so fucking stupid. Fucking wine.”

Chugging down a glass of water, you stared at the stove top. That was, until you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist.

And oh, that feeling of warmth and that familiar scent. It felt so nice, and yet so sickening.

“Did you mean what you said last night?” Gojo murmured against your shoulder, not missing the way you side eyed him.

“What do you mean?”

“You don’t remember?” His brows were furrowed now, almost offended.

“No??”

“You said you loved me. That you missed me.” Gojo filled in the gaps, and turned you around in his hold. Eyeing you with so much hope.

You stared at him for a long time, a long long time. Debating whether or not that was true, regardless it didn’t matter. “So what? Not like we’ll ever get back together.” You pulled away, huffing at the way your heart ached slightly as his shoulders slumped.

“Wait what?” Now Gojo was pulling you back. “It does matter, because if you do love me, we can— no we need to get back together.”

“And why would I? You’ll just become an asshole all over again. Remember? ‘Why the fuck are you so clingy?’” You did air quotes before slapping his hand away.

“But— but come on now, I’m— I was stupid. I took you for granted. I’d never do that to you— not ever, ever again. I will spend the rest of my life making you see how I’ve changed if I need too.” Taking a step closer to you, “please, please just give me another chance. Do you want me to get on my knees? Want me to beg?”

You glaring at him, “yes.” You didn’t think he’d do it. When you’d dated him before he was all pride. ‘Worlds strongest’ this and ‘chosen one’ that.

However, your breath stalled in your throat when he knelt down in front of you, literally on his knees as his hands found your hips. His eyes almost puppy like as he literally begged you.

Like a sinner at an alter, pleading for forgiveness.

You hated how much you like it. How it made you so happy to see him like this. So weak that he’d beg— on his knees.

“Please baby, I swear on everything— I swear on my eyes that I’ll never hurt you again. If I ever do— you can have them.” He pressed gentle kisses to your knuckles.

You swallowed thickly, your heart pounding in your chest. “…you ever, and I mean ever, talk to me like you did— behave like you did, to me again— I’ll hold you to that swear.” Your hand held his jaw, fingers digging into his jaw.

He nodded so fast, and when you pressed your lips against his, he was just as fast to stand up. Kissing you like a man starved and you were a tall glass of ice cold water.

Gojo’s hands held your hips in an iron grip, pulling you flush against him. Lord he was moaning into the kiss, murmuring about how thankful he was— how much he missed this, missed you.

You weren’t much better. Your nails clawed up his arms, his chest, dragged through his hair just to tug slightly hard.

“Missed you so— fucking much.” He grunted against your lips. Already hard and throbbing and oh so pathetic.

“You really are a desperate ex.” You smiled against his lips.

“Yeah, ‘m desperate for you. Sure as shit not your ex anymore.” He leaned down to press bites and nips all across your shoulders.

Now that had you smiling. “Yeah. Not my ex anymore.”

Your next kiss was sweet, all love and adoration.

This time, you knew he wouldn’t fuck this up. Who’d want to lose their eyes?

Danny and Damian are friends (also known as: Damian has a crush on Danny) LAST PART

Author’s note: Hey guys! Happy new year! This is the last part of this little saga. Thank you for accompanying me and thank you for reading.

When Damian and Danny come back into the manor is with clasped hands, blushing cheeks, bitten lips and messy hair, thank the gods and the ancients no one was present when both teens walked into the house via the kitchen’s door. They find their respective families all gathered in the drawing room where the Wayne’s had been waiting for Danny and his uncle earlier; Bruce and Selina once again cuddling on the armchair, Dick, Cass, Jason and Tim sitting on the big couch, Duke and Steph on the divan, Woodlock on the other armchair in the room and Alfred dutifully standing by the entrance.

No one stops the chat they are having but Damian notices when his family direct their mirthful gazes to him and his now boyfriend, he can feel his heart doing a summersault in both joy and nervousness, but then he also notices Woodlock’s gaze and his heart drops, a cold sensation settling in his gut.

“Ahem.” Damian clears his throat to get the attention of the ones in the room.

“Oh, Damian, Danny, back so soon?” Dick asks them with too much sweetness in his voice.

“Yeah, we thought you would take some more.” Steph says, her words clearly carrying a double meaning. “I mean, with all the pets Damian has.” She adds with a shit eating grim on her perfectly painted lips.

They know. Damian realizes with annoyance and embarrassment. Tt, of course they couldn’t keep their nosy noses away!

“We just went to see Batcow.” Danny answers, if he understands Dick and Steph’s double meaning comments Damian is not sure, but he guesses that playing dumb is also a way to deal with this. “And we also saw the stars for a bit.”

“One of Daniel’s obsessions is space.” Woodlock joins the conversation. “He knows everything there is to know about the stars and what’s beyond. He actually wants to double mayor in aero-space engineering and physics.”

“Damn.” Duke gasps. “Over achiever much. You sure, Danny? That sounds… well, that sounds very time consuming.”

“Pfff, Time’s not an issue.” Danny says as he waves his hand as if swatting a fly away, he and his uncle exchange a look and smile, like sharing a secret joke.

“Anyways.” Damian reclaims the attention of the room on himself. “Before this marvelous night finishes, Daniel and I would like to make an announcement.” The taller teen says as he lifts his clasped hands. “Daniel and I are now formally in a romantic relationship.” His heart stutters like the wings of a hummingbird at the statement.

“Congratulations, chum!” Bruce celebrates as he stands up and walks behind both teens and puts a hand on each of the teens’ shoulders.

“About time.” Woodlock comments of handedly. “As endearing as it was to watch you both make eyes to each other, it was starting to get slightly too sickening.”

“Clocky!” Danny reprimands as a scandalized flush paint his pale cheeks.

“Seriously Daniel, it was like you trying to hide the raccoon from me but not even you realized that you were trying to hide it.” The clock maker says, making everyone older that the teens chuckle.

“Come on, man, have mercy on me.” Danny pleads.

“This is me being merciful, dear boy.”

“Happy!” Cass exclaims as she hugs Damian and Danny from behind, the young woman having snuck on them at some point during the conversation.

“Does this mean I get a family discount for whenever I ask you to fix something?” Jason questions Danny from his spot on the couch.

“Nope, if anything it means I expect yummier snacks form now on.” Danny answer.

“Brat.”

They all stayed in the drawing room for another hour, Damian and Danny taking seat on an empty divan closer to the entrance, hands still holding while Damian’s siblings (mostly Jason, Tim and Steph) teased them. When it was time for C.W. and Danny to go back home the blue-eyed teen said good bye to his new boyfriend with a quick kiss on the cheek.

“Do you want to know every single way this night could have gone horribly wrong?” C.W. asks Danny as they drive away from Wayne Manor.

“Hell no.” Danny says, eyes never leaving the road.

Summary: You had to start living with your VERY rich dad at the age of six after your mother ran away to Hollywood to become an actress. And you, my friend, didn’t have the capacity to be a hero or vigilante so of course, the bleachers it is!

This is heavily inspired by @bunniebrains neglected daughter fic!!

Warnings! Depressed reader, emotional neglect, mentions of sexual themes, alcohol, self harm.

You say infront of Bruce in his study. His index finger and thumb were pinching the bridge of his nose as Jason put the trash bag filled with empty liquor bottles on his desk.

Bruce had all of the absence letter the school sent him in his hand. A whole stack of them.

On the other side of the desk were your past report cards. Straight F’s.

They had stripped your room, found a bunch of ashtrays, burnt weed vapes and of course — exactly sixty-two empty bottles.

There it was. Evidence.

Jason stayed for a moment too long until Bruce just shoo’d him away.

The walls shook as Jason slammed the door on the way out.

You look down at the desk, your heart pumping way too fast.

“I don’t understand where I went wrong.” Bruce starts off with. “You-.. You used to be a decent student, (name).”

“I’m just a bit burnt out..” you murmur and he glares at you with his piercing blue eyes.

“From what?” His voice had dropped a few octaves. “Living in a stable home? Having a good allowance? Being surrounded by family?”

Your face burnt, tears threatened to spill.

“Sixty two bottles, almost half are from my cellar.” He sighs and pinches his nose bridge again. His brow furrow. “Those thirty one bottles add up to 104,367 dollars and 35 cents. You’ve stolen that. From me, your father.”

He pauses and glares at you.

“I also noticed a thousand dollars missing from my wallet this morning. Where did that end up?”

You just shrug.

“In your mother’s pocket.” He sighs.

You wipe away some spilled tears.

He studies your face and reaches into his pocket.

The color drains from your face when he pulls out the blood-stained razor blade. The one that was hidden under your plant.

“You should have seen the horror on Alfred’s face when he saw this.” he murmurs.

You stare at the blade, trying to dissociate but failing.

“Where do you do it?” he asks, almost gently.

You shrug once again.

“Show me.”

You look at the man that’s supposed to be your father. The man who slept with some downtown trash bag and had the unfortunate happen. The man who had you.

You sniffle and feel all the rage that’s been pent up inside you for a very, very long time.

“Like you fucking care.” you wipe away some tears with your shirts sleeve, only for more to spill.

He glares at you. His face remaining stoic.

“I do care. You’re my child.”

“Im not your child.” you were full on sobbing, humiliated and angry. “You don’t even like me!”

He sighs, just sighs. He couldn’t admit that he loved you, cherished you. He didn’t find the words.

Before you could think your legs were straightening. As if on autopilot, you walked out of that study.

Bruce didn’t call after you.

You needed to get out of here, you only needed your jacket. The pockets were filled with cash and a cigarette pack. That was enough.

Jason and Dick were still searching your room. Just in case there were other stuff you’ve been hiding.

“Found something.” Dick shouts and holds up a small, plastic bag with about ten white tablets inside.

Jason takes one look at the bag.

“That’s just spit up antidepressants, dumbass!” Jason says gruffly and lifts up your mattress. It’s awful but it was kind of fun searching your room. Though none of them would ever admit it.

Damian was standing by the doorway, a bit confused by the scene.

“Is (name) in trouble?” he almost grins. He overheard Bruce yelling at you in the study and assumed you did something bad. Which was kind of correct.

“No.” Both brothers say in unison. “Just get.” Dick adds and looks through your drawers.

Damian huffs and leaves, making sure they hear his stomps across the hallway.

“How can someone just hide fimps under the bed and not have the decency to get an ashtray?” Jason murmurs. “I swear if I knew I wouldn’t have bought anything..”

“YOU bought her the alcohol?” Dick glares at his brother.

“No! Just the cigarettes.. and the occasional beer.”

“Jesus!”

All they found was a bunch of old beer and behind your closet, a whole ton of cigarette fimps and two old lighters.

It was pouring outside. The rain hit hard against the glass. You sitting on the bench inside the bus queue, just needing to escape the pouring rain.

Cars practically fly past you and the familiar sound of sirens was blocking out the noice of the rain.

It’s so stupid that a manor that big could suffocate a person like that.

You reach into your pocket and take out the cigarette pack. You use your thumb to slide up the hinged lid. The smell of tobacco overrode the smell of rain and straight up sewage.

Seventeen years. That family had seventeen years to acknowledge you, love you or even just treat you like a living, breathing person.

How come you only matter when you smoke, drink, slit your wrists?

The smoke filled your throat. Sometimes you liked to think of it as the smoke killing that lump in your airway.

You hear the splash of shoes stepping on puddles and the weight of someone heavy sitting down next to you on the bench.

“Where are you planning on going?” Bruce asks.

“I don’t know.” you murmur. “Maybe to mom.”

He sighs and grips the wooden bench.

“So the airport?” he asks.

“She’s still in that motel downtown..” you take a deep inhale of smoke to drown out the anxiety.

“You know what I think of you going downtown.”

“No, I don’t. You’ve never spoken to me about downtown. You’ve never spoken to me at all.” You flick the cigarette.

He stays silent for a bit but he reaches into his pocket and hands you a cut out newspaper clip and a photo.

It was your mom and Bruce, though much younger. The text under it was just gossip about Bruce’s playboy years and scandals. Nothing new.

“I saw this today.” he murmurs. “Thought you should have it.”

“Why?”

“It’s a nice photo. She was.. is.. pretty in it.”

You look at the photo. Yeah, she was. You had her nose and eye color but nothing else.

“And the gossip?” you ask.

“That’s not me, you know? It’s just a mask, (name).” he confesses. But it wasn’t like you didn’t know that.

“Your mother fell for the parts of me that are wrong. The parts I want to surpress. I never met a woman like that.”

“I thought she was just a hookup.” you murmur bitterly. After all, that’s what everyone said.

“That’s what I told the media. I couldn’t let them know that I was dating a drug-user. They would tip me to shreds.”

You look at him and if you squinted you could almost see the tiniest smile.

“I knew about you. I knew she was pregnant and.. I was there when you were born.” he admits.

If the tobacco didn’t numb you the way it did your jaw would be on the floor.

“When she started using again.. I knew I had to protect you. So I secured an acting role for her and sent her on her way.”

He looks back at you.

“I didn’t want to realize that you were like her. I couldn’t-.. I don’t want you to fall down that path. You’re my baby. You will always be.”

Either the rain had hit his face or there were tears running down his face. That you would never know.

“Then why am I always kept in the dark? What did you think was gonna happen?” You ask gruffly and inhale some more smoke.

“I was scared. I am scared. I’m constantly afraid.” he takes a deep breath. His coat was wrinkled, his expensive shoes practically destroyed. “But I want to help. I want to-.. to help you.”

“I don’t need help, dad.”

“You do. I’m sorry for not realizing it earlier.”

It turned silent after that. But somehow, just sitting there with your father, was enough. For the first time you were seen.

You didn’t need to explain to Bruce why you were the way you were, because he knew. He was the same way, just in a different form.

Rehab helped you realize that you only have one life. When you’re gone, you’re gone. There is no coming back. There is no return button. And instead of being afraid, you should enjoy life to the fullest, and that meant not living for a quick fix or a tiny moment of euphoria. But instead die knowing you lived as who you are.

A/n: The last part of TBND series! It’s been really fun thank you guys for so much love to this series y’all are amazing <3 I will make a sequel to the series soon that takes place senior year for Clark and the reader but I’ll do that after writing different fics. This one is gonna start the use of a very common pet name that is often used in the Clarkxreader fics. Ignore the errors lol. Hope you enjoy!💞

You and Clark were walking around town picking up some things that Martha needed from a few different stores.

The distance is still being kept since you two were out and about in public. You did however, get a little makeout session done in his truck before hopping off.

“Alright, last thing we need is to order cow food from the pet shop” Clark says as he is carrying everything he had to buy for his Ma.

“First, let’s get all this in the truck before you collapse” you joke and grab the keys from his pocket.

After finally loading up the truck with all the stuff, you head to the pet shop.

They had all kinds of animals there. Puppies, kittens, birds, hamsters, snakes, fish, and bunnies.

The second you both walked in, you had your eyes locked on the bunnies. Clark said he would come back after ordering some cow food from the store’s manager.

That was the perfect opportunity to get to see the bunnies up closer. They were so stinking cute. All adorable, little, and fluffy.

You’ve never ever had a pet before. Your parents didn’t want an animal running around the mansion so you never had a dog or cat or anything. Not even a fish.

One of the bunnies catches your attention. An even smaller one than the rest, with dark eyes and fluffy brown fur.

Clark is still placing the order for cow food and you are just sitting on the floor, crisscrossed, with the brown bunny hopping all over you.

This was the first time in your life where you actually felt a connection with an animal. The cows on the farm were very friendly but you never felt attached to them in a special way.

“You are just the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen! But, don’t tell my boyfriend” you say to the bunny in a sweet voice.

“Alright, we can go-” Clark stops himself as he sees you sitting on the ground, playing around with the bunny.

You notice Clark but ignore him because all your attention was focused on this little cotton ball bouncing all over you.

Clark just looks down at both of you and cracks a little smile as his watching you giggle while the bunny wants to make its way up to the top of your head.

“Oh. I uh, I guess we should go” you say in slight disappointment when you finally acknowledge Clark standing in front of you.

“Bye bye, cutie” you say as you put the bunny back in its cage with the rest of its siblings. Then you realize that this was the last time you’d ever see that bunny again.

“You okay baby?” Clark asked as you were staring out the truck window while you were driving home.

“Yeah, I just, I’ve never had a pet before and that little bunny made me realize how much I was missing out” you reply in a sad-ish tone.

Clark then puts his hand over yours but doesn’t say anything back at all. That was very weird, Clark would always comfort you whenever he sensed that you were sad.

His radar must’ve been off or something.

Every time you two would go on rides together, he would do a quick stop in the same spot that was just a couple blocks away from your farms.

You would do this to get a couple kisses in before he had to drop you off. Today was no exception, he made that quick stop.

“Come on, let me make you feel better” he said before giving you a kiss on the back of your hand. He smiled afterwards and you giggled a bit.

“Alright, Kent. Make me feel better” you say with a smile. He wastes no time and pulls you in closer by the waist.

Kissing slow and then progressively more intense. That was Clark’s strategy to make you feel better every time.

“Making me feel…s’much better already” you murmured as he kept the kisses coming.

“I got you sweetheart…gosh you’re just too sweet” he says as you start to scratch his head gently, now that was your strategy to make him feel better.

The following night, auntie Jess left for work so you had the house all for yourself. Stocked fridge and pantry with some blockbuster movies was more than enough to keep you happy while she was gone.

Well, almost enough to keep you happy.

You dial Clark’s number and wait for him to pickup the call. After less than two seconds, he picks up.

“Hey baby, aunt Jess is gone and I rented some movies, can you come over?” You say while deciding on what movie to watch.

“Of course! What movies did you- HEY, HEY COME BACK HERE!” He says over the phone. What was he talking to in that last part?

“You okay honey?” You asked in a confused tone. You kept hearing something through the phone, like rumbling or something.

“Yeah! Yeah, uh, I’m just, playing, m-mortal combat…” he stuttered. You knew for a fact that he was lying because he did not have mortal combat at his house, he let you borrow it and it was right in front of you.

“I’ll see you in a second baby, I’m almost on my way. I love you” he says before hanging up the phone.

Something was definitely wrong here. Clark would never hang up first and he would always wait for you to say “I love you” back before you ended the call.

What could this boy possibly be doing?

Just a few seconds after he hanged up, you heard his whoosh, and then heard a knock coming from the front door. You go to open it but, he’s not there.

“Clark?” You shout as you step into the porch to see if he’s around anywhere. You heard his whoosh again but this time coming from behind you. Then you heard the back door close suddenly.

“What the fu-”

“Hey baby!” He says as he magically appears on the front porch. Was he really going to pretend like you didn’t just hear him coming through the back door?

“Alright, what is going on?” You said frustrated as you grabbed him by his flannel and pull him inside the house before closing the door.

“N-nothing” he says while raising his hands up as if you were holding him at gun point.

“Don’t mess with me, Kent. You’ve been acting weird” you huffed as you back him up against a wall while you’re still grabbing him by his flannel.

“Honey, why don’t you just go up to your room?” He says in a suspiciously sweet voice.

“Oh what, now you’re giving me orders?” You say in a menacing tone.

“Baby, trust me. Why don’t you go up to your room?” He said as he put your jaw in his hands. Something about the look in his eyes made you want to actually pay attention to what he said.

You let go of his flannel and walk upstairs. You make it to your bedroom door and he was standing on the last step of the stairs because he would always refuse to go in your room.

You opened the door and see something on your bed…

It was the fluffy brown bunny you fell in love with the day before. It was hopping around on your bed. You picked it up and held it close to you while you realized this was all Clark’s plan.

“Surprise!” He said with a sweet smile. You walk out of your room, with bunny in hand, and stand face to face with Clark.

“You, you planned all this?” You say while looking into his eyes filled with joy.

“I saw the way you were playing with this little guy yesterday and just seeing that smile on your face made me go back and adopt him” he said as he gently petted the bunny’s head with his index finger.

“Oh baby, I’m sorry for acting the way I did right now. I thought you were hiding something” you say.

“I know, I wanted to mess with you a bit. You don’t have to apologize” he giggled softly. You leaned in and thanked him with a kiss.

You play around with the bunny in the living room. Turns out, he’s a boy and he’s 3 months old.

“So what are you going to name him?” Clark asked as you two were laying on the floor, playing around with your new furry friend.

“Let’s see here. He’s cute, sweet, loving, adorable, and has brown hair. I think I’m gonna name him, Clark” you joke and you both start giggling.

“How about, Hershey? You know, cause of his fur” you suggested, seriously this time.

“I love it” Clark replies with a smile.

After a few hours, Hershey got tired from all the playing and eventually fell asleep.

That gave you and Clark the chance to actually watch a movie together and not just chase Hershey around all night.

You end up watching A Nightmare On Elm Street 3. Not the best movie but as long as you were cuddled up with Clark, you could watch anything.

Clark started to snore a bit since he fell asleep for a second. You squeezed his arm, which was around your waist, to wake him up.

“Clark” you whispered as you try to make him wake up.

“Sorry, Bunny” he said in a slightly sleepy voice.

“Bunny?” You replied. You were confused on if he actually meant to call you that or if his sleepy brain was just still stuck on Hershey.

“Yeah, Bunny. That actually fits you pretty well” he says softly and stretches out a bit without letting go of you.

“So you’re going to call me Bunny now?” You replied while turning over to face him. You had many nicknames but this one was different.

“Yeah. Cause you are my Bunny” he said with a smile before starting to kiss your neck. You close your eyes and smile, letting him do his strategy.

“You’re my Bunny…and you’re the best girl…and I love you s’much” he murmured between kisses.

“And this Bunny loves you so much, Clarkie” you replied and you both giggled. You start making out a bit more, his hands were on your lower back and yours were holding his jaw.

“Hey…Clark?”

“Yes Bunny?”

“How am I going to tell auntie Jess that I have a pet bunny now?…”
