I am not obsessed, and I don't have favorites!.... I promise :')

What if Macaques fur was white in the past but somewhere in all the angst went dark, and he grew to like it as a symbolic representation of his separation from his Sun (Wukong). A physical manifestation of his new isolation, his new strength, and his new hatred. Then LBD does her thing and he ends up with white streaks or something and he just is not prepared mentally to deal with that. Cue Macaque angst.
