This wasn’t for time, mainly a focus on just moving steadily. It was the first time I’ve done hanging anything since tweaking something in my left hand months ago, and it felt pretty good. We’re climbing tomorrow, so it’ll be interesting to see if it continues to hold up.

Me: *proceeds to educate him about literally everything I know about RCC and his outlook if they excise it with no metastasis vs if he leaves it too long*

Him: I know my specialists said the same thing but I trust what you say even more. I like you and I trust you and I will do whatever you recommend

Me:

NEVER underestimate your impact, especially in Family Medicine. Building that rapport of trust and sometimes friendship with patients may be the tipping point in them doing what must be done to save their life one day.

Got in a quick workout after lunch since I have no idea if this second shot is gonna make me feel like crap for a couple days.

Max overhead kettlebell swings (16 kg)

EMOM 10 med ball slams (20 lb)

Reps: 212 (90 slams, 122 kb swings)

Shoulders are gonna be feeling that one. Went for the standard hill run afterward.
