A Fairly Good Night makes it very clear that Marinette doesn't want to keep living with secret identities anymore (though Chat Noir seems to be excluded from that. She doesn't want the boy underneath the mask to be real and be part of her life. This is about her civilian life and her civilian friends)
And yeah, ever since s4, Marinette is getting more and more reckless. And since now 7+ people know her secret identity, we've reached a point where Marinette just... stops caring. But that is at the end of the day still self-serving and dangerous.
Max does NOT consent to being put at that much of a risk of finding out who Ladybug is, which will put a massive target on his back.
Max' mother did NOT consent to her following her dreams being used by civilian Ladybug to get an opportunity to have more of her friends in the know. Even if that's not Marinette's direct plan, Marinette is very clearly kinda hoping that it'll happen. She doesn't want to make compromises anymore.
She's not trying to stop anything, nor taking any special preparations. She's taking the risk and is welcoming it with open arms.
And that's just straight up irresponsible. Marinette is once again walking over everybody's boundaries and consent because SHE wants something. Or at least hopes she'll "coincidentally" get something comfortable and beneficial out of this risk being taken on someone else's expense.
"No!," I hear you cry. "Marinette is only doing it because Max has autism and decided himself that he feels most comfortable with her and her family to stay for a longer period of time!"
First of all, don't you dare use Max' autism as a shield. What's the logic here? "Sorry, I had to risk putting a target in your back and significantly changing your life. You have autism and I wasn't comfortable with telling you to please sleep at another friend's home. Both of our short-term comfort was way more important to me than keeping you safe and to not from one moment to the next be overthrowing your hero routine into becoming a massive part of your life YOU need to now make changes and compromises for. I'm sure your autism can handle THAT, though ^^ but you sleeping somewhere else? Now THAT just crossed the line! 👆"
Really? MAX made this decision? He made the informed decision to later on be staying in Ladybug's home for a longer period of time, risking to find out her identity and be one of her closest allies which will fundamentally risk putting a target on his back and change A LOT for him in his civilian life and in the hero team if this comes out?
Are you sure MAX is the one making the decision to take the risk of changing his life like that?
Or isn't it rather MARINETTE who is fine with taking that risk simply because she would PREFER for Max to be in the know?
And I'm being kind right now to not further elaborate on how Marinette is being written to practically BEG for Chat Noir to have a full-blown crash out and never trust her again if he ever were to find out how much she's been deceiving and keeping him in the dark about since s4. The list is ever-growing, girl. But sure, you were totally traumatized by Chat Blanc...
