Sending this here because I just saw it specifically about transfems who were AFAB. But this is relevant to a bunch of other stuff (other things that I’ve personally seen with this are atertiary aspec labels and nontraumagenic systemhood).
“[X label] is a radqueer thing” at what point are we just allowed to call this pedojacketing/predatorjacking? Because that’s what you’re fucking doing.
I’m so goddamn sick of constantly retelling my trauma over and over to people to make them understand that radqueers are for the most part not “a group using a bit out-there labels”, they are active groomers. And I’m sick of constantly having it implied that I’m still one of them because I identify with atertiary labels or am questioning a connection to transfemininity.
“Don’t try to associate transfems with people who want to have sex with kids, that’s transmisogyny” until the transfem has an AGAB you don’t personally agree with.
This is transgynephobia (more detail on that here [link]), queerphobia (especially aphobia), and endophobia. (Also, there's perhaps some paramisia involved, as a lot of people are horrible to transfems who have paraphilic disorders, and don't understand the difference between predator and paraphile, but thats a whole other discussion.)
"Niche/pocket/neo" identities =/= radqueer. To accuse every person who has such identities of being a radqueer showcases a lack of understanding on what makes a radqueer.
Adding on - not all radqueers support predators. A lot of radqueers are groomed into the community themselves, or are misled alterhumans, misled plurals, or misled people with somatoform disorders who have not felt accepted in general communities and crave words to describe their experiences. (And to be very clear, I do not agree with the radqueer movement. But I understand the need for labels and community, and I think a lot of people are just going about it the wrong way, and being sucked down a toxic rabbithole. And finally, being anti-endo (or even endo-neutral) is ableist. Endogenic systems just didn't form from trauma, but are like any other system. (And as a side note, endogenic =/= non-dissociative, and traumagenic =/= dissociative. Read more on that here [link.])
It is often also antitheist (as many endo systems form through spiritual practices) and/or racist (as many endo systems form through cultural practices.)
