Something I've been wondering.

What's your preferred way to refer to a ship

Character / Character Slash (ex: Kirk/Spock)

Portmanteau (ex: Dean + Castiel = Destiel)

Themed couple name (ex: Ineffable Husbands)

for me personally I've always hated portmanteau ship names because I am notoriously bad at spelling and I ALWAYS get them wrong (ex: it's fjorester NOT fjorjester), or there's argument over which portmanteau to use (early taz fandom arguing over taagnus vs magko). Or like... it takes a degree in linguistics to actually figure out WHO is being shipped... but I feel like the portmanteau tags are always way more common, active and consistent.
