I miss when the fandom acknowledged dipper angst and the fact that stan treated dipper and Mabel differently like he and Mabel were hard on dipper for no reasons at times (there's alot to say but I'm bad with words) also lowkey forever hold a grudge against Ford as a character because we were robbed of a more direct confrontation between Bill and dipper in the finale honestly the fact Mabel can get away with the love potion thing and going back on the promise she made to dipper to help with the laptop but dipper gets locked in a closet with his crush and gets published by the narrative by talking to girls and trying to make friends to move on what? He didn't owe candy anything and he didn't do anything wrong he fr was underutilized tbh the fact Pacifica respected dipper more than his family honestly wish he and her had more episodes as friend because man did dipper need some around his age

agree with all of this so deeply i might as well have sent the anon to myself lolll

i definitely feel like the show and the narrative would have benefited greatly from a few more episodes exploring dipper having friends (outside of soos and wendy) his own age & showing stan and mabel either actually changing their behavior OR discussing the emotional fallout that comes with being treated like this.

mabel in particular has several instances where she chooses herself and people she often just met a few minutes prior over dipper. and despite being confronted every time with dipper visibly being hurt or things going wrong it CONTINUES TO HAPPEN all the way up until the finale. stan does get better, but mabel doesnt. she doesnt really have a character arch when you actually sit down and look at it

you know me i love to project onto my boys but fr i see so much of myself in stan and dipper so it's always depressing seeing the fandom brush the two of them under the rug in lieu of mabel and ford.

i think the series had amazing potential if they had upped the maturity rating and maybe given us a few more episodes if not a third season. there was much more to be explored and several characters *cough cough most characters except for stan and kindaaa ford* were not properly developed over the series.

ik ive said it before but it truly feels like alex wanted to massively distance from self inserting himself into dipper and put all his eggs into fords basket. And as a result, the entire franchise suffered and the fandom responded in kind... furthering this erasure of the actual main character.

hiiii! omg, i just read your newest update on agatharioXreaderrr!! idk why, but i feel an angst coming in (which would be WONDERFUL! coz we could see how it would be for the three of them) the angsty chapter in question in my head (which is just an idea, and like something that just came in my head hahahaha) however is where like, there would be like a chaotic mess that happened in the recording studio and maybe reader will be accused on what happened and Agatha is just SOOOO MAD, maybe it would go where a punishment from Agatha will hit hard rock bottom and just really too much for reader that she passed out or something like that (it could lead to so much more angstier one but it's up to youuu) and then rio would immediately come back (but of course, her work was already done, she just quickly came back home early to try and help Agatha and settle everything) but reader was like so out of it, she won't eat, she doesn't want to be touched, she cries at night and sleepless (JUST REALLY VERY ANGSTY AND SAD)

This is exactly why I just got uncomfortable watching Dream Every time. He is so proud of himself of figuring out the algorithm that he genuinely doesn't see the negative effects in his own thinking. Like, I always want to give the benefit of the doubt for everyone, and I'm sure dream wanted to show his face to his friends because he genuinely cared about their reaction first, but the fact that he actively asked them to record it, went around to other youtubers to reach more corners.... he has a company mindset. Which is never good if you are an individual. That is when you don't realise how fucked up some of your choices are (e.g. the whole dream USB with childhood pictures and emails that only exclusive shop members could buy) - nony (also hi how are ya egg)

but thats his FACE. he was sellin his own appearance like its a product. he consistently does this shit w intrinsically tyin his own identity and self w how his fans consume his content. like this has essentially been him advertising himself as content similar to the baby photos. n its uncomfy as fuck to me like.
