Anyways, Odds and Entities is about a young girl who's had the ability to see ghost her whole life. After a big move, she finds three ghosts already residing in her new home and she makes friends with all of them. This series is basically about them going on silly, wacky, and sometimes horrifying adventures together.
(Note, all these drawings are the lastest drawings I have of all these characters.)
Carrie H. Blackwood! Our main protagonist!
Born with the ability to see the undead, Carrie's been absolutely obsessed with the stranger, horrifying things in life practically all her life. Despite her strange interests and desires (Such as wanting to be a mortician when she gets older) Carrie is a socially anxious, kind, nervous, curious, and sweet girl who hates conflict and just wants everyone to be happy.
Theodore Williams Bearington III (Teddie)
Birthday: January 19th, 1865
Death date: September 22, 1893
One of the three ghosts from Carrie's house. An eccentric, theatrical, and rather goofy Victorian gentleman who has many tricks up his sleeve... and in his hat! Being a performer back in his day, he seems to be quite excellent in all sorts of fields. He also loves having fun at parties and big events, and enjoys having a reputation of the ghost that'll scare off anyone who tries to visit. Despite being upset by having mortals move into his house at first, as it limits the amount of people who he can interact with, he eventually befriends Carrie as she reveals herself to be kind and understanding towards spirits, something that neither he or the other ghosts are used to.
He wears his heart on his sleeve, and has a love for many things. The thing he loves most of all... his wife.
Mary Jane (Rose) Bearington
Death date: September 22, 1893
Among the three ghosts, she's definitely the easiest to get along with. She's a loving, kind hearted, optimistic woman who loves to bake and sew! Very sweet towards everyone and after dying somewhat early in life, just wants to spend her afterlife with her husband and friends, free of all the insane Victorian social expectations. She was kind to Carrie from the moment she arrived in the house, serving as a second mother figure to her in a way. She and Teddie have been happily married in love for about... 142 years now!
Birthday: November 21, 1907
Very intelligent, easily annoyed, and closed off aside from very few people. The "dark and mysterious past" type of man. (Which he does have!) At the time, Xavier's afterlife had become quite predictable until Carrie had shown up. He'd taken a quick interest in her after realizing she could see him. Not only that, she wasn't afraid of him or the other ghosts at all, and she had quite a lot of knowledge in that little head of hers. He was a librarian in life, along with a few other "side hobbies", as he liked to call it. Having spent most of his afterlife as a wanderer, he's recently settled down, and is quite interested in these new mysteries he's recently found...
