Please for all of cookiekind check out this fanfic, Spawn of the ancient beasts, by an_undead_gamer_45 and PaintinBeyondExpectations on AO3 their fic is so good!! Have some fanart / fan interpretations of how the main characters shall change throughout the fic as we’re only at chapter 23 and I need to feed the monster in my brain or else I’ll go insane

This fanfic/au is about if the main cookies were children of the Ancients and the Beasts, how the Gingergang adapts to finding out their parenthood and how the parents react to finding out they have kids!

GingerBrave absolutely fought me on every front, with his hair to his pose but I think I finally found something I’ll accept. Strawberry Cookie was easy peasy especially because when I started this the chapter describing her hair growing had just come out so I had a chill time translating that to her final design. Wizard Cookie was fun; as much as I love his fluffy hair I felt for the story I had to straighten it to match his dad. Custard Cookie the III was my favourite to conceptualize and draw as his theme was so so cute, he is my baby and I love him so much. And Chili Pepper Cookie fought me at first but eventually we settled to a design that fit her.

One will notice some of their doughs have changed colour. That’s because in the fic it’s stated that GingerBrave started to become paler to match his parentage so I figured the others would have that happen too; Wizard Cookie became a little darker but not too much as his mothers paleness would balance out with his fathers, and Chili Cookie became a soft middle ground of her parents

I also made this little comic on impulse showing Shadow Milk Cookie finding Custard with his new hair and being so excited because his baby looks like him!!

Am I obsessed? Yes, definitely. Do I regret all the hours I’ve poured into each drawing? Hell nah

Shadow Gens is an amazing game. I love it to death and I have so much fun with it, both playing it for the first time and replaying stuff now that I'm done with the story. I love going back and trying to get better times or trying to find all the emblems. I love just messing around in the White Space hub world.
