“That’s how most people end up here,” the bartender replied.

Tommy huffed out a laugh. He glanced up at her, reading her nametag.

Hope.

Ironic.

He took a deep breath. “I don’t even know how to begin to explain it,” he admitted, resting his elbow on the bar and digging his fingers into his temple. “I decided to be honest with someone I love. Someone, who is… he’s the love of my life and- and I think I ruined it.”

“Did ya cheat?” Hope asked.

Tommy shook his head, wrapping his hands around the glass in front of him and letting the bourbon swirl around. “That actually might be easier to explain.”

“Hm. Okay, well now I’m invested, so you have to tell me. Workin’ here, there’s not much I haven’t heard anyway. Spill it.”

And hell, why not? “My boyfriend and I are both firefighters. I worked at his station before he got there. I slept with my captain there, who would eventually become his captain. That captain was a father figure to my boyfriend, and now he’d dead. I wanted to be honest with the boyfriend, so I told him the truth, and now he hates my guts. Which is valid, I guess. But, he probably also hates his former captain and surrogate father’s guts too, and he shouldn’t.”

Hope stood there, head tilted to the side, mouth hanging open slightly. It took her a few seconds to digest what she’d heard. “That’s a new one for me.”

Wait so Josie went to New Orleans to blast Freya with dark magic for Freya to go to Mystical Falls and give Hope a hug just for all that to be forgotten and for Hope’s family to once again forget about her even tho we still don’t know if they remembered her after the first time she jumped into malivore meaning Hope Mikaelson once again has to deal with her family not remembering who she is and having to explain everything she can remember that is if the writers ever decide to remember Hope actually has living family members......the disgrace.

Freya, come back to Mystic Falls and take Hope home to New Orleans. She’ll be better off there.

Wait wait wait like if Klaus isn’t at Peace bc Hope isn’t at peace, does that mean he basically just hangs around her all the time when she’s doing anything?? Like imagine Klaus when she’s making out with Landon or when she’s stuck in the Malivore pit and he’s just like ‘HOPE ANDREA MIKAELSON WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO NOW’ or when she says Alaric is the closest thing she has to a father do you think Klaus is just like ‘bitch i’m right here’ like just imagine him following her around like an angry ghost that is just stuck there unable to go to Peace and unable to LEAVE like oml

I must say, its fricking adorable how Omega tries to comfort a crying Hope. He was built for combat, but he does his best. The very fact that Hope puts her hand against his metal plating shows that she appreciates him regardless! Its also sad that this is the last we see of Snively’s sister Hope before the reboot...

Nothing seems to be going well for Snively and his plans of winning over Hope and eventually the Iron Queen, but Eggman is still on his tail and seems to have a plot of his own.

I guess we’ll see the Iron Queen again in #39 coming up!
