"Freedom made you impulsive",
Hi! It's me, the letters anon again. Following my last ask, what if MC also had letters written to Tobias (because they've come to consider him like another father) and after burning the ones for Ashlyen they felt terrible and decided to give Tobias his letters?
(MC feels everything crumbling around them but they know Tobias has been there for them since they were little. They feel like he's one of the only people they know who's never lied to them, who's never pretended he didn't know them, who's never been ashamed of them.)
Hi Letters Anon ! How are you, dear?
Making your way to the living room, you find Tobias standing in front of the fireplace and slumping into one of the armchairs. Drained of your energy from crying too much.
Tobias' features reflect the concern he has for you. He takes a careful step forward.
"Feeling a little better, Little Star?"
You look up at him, your eyes still clouded with the remnants of tears.
"Here." You hand him another small package of letters.
"What's this?"
You feel your cheeks heat up as your uncle tilts his head to the side.
"These are your letters. The ones I wrote for you."
Tobias' eyes widen. "You wrote me letters?"
"Yes. Frankly, I don't know why you're surprised."
You stand up. "You've always been there for me, you've always done so much more than him. So I thought maybe you would accept my letters."
Tobias' eyes go from the letters to your face before he places the package on his heart.
"Thank you," he says in a voice choked with emotion. "I'll read every one of them."
"Or I can give you a summary," you offer just as emotionally.
"Oh yeah?"
You nod. "Yes in my letters, I simply say. I love you Tobias." You inhale. "I love you dad."
Tobias' face changes, his lip tremble. "And I love you my Little Star."
Hero & Mentor: Love can make you grieve unhealthily
“You shouldn’t have done this.”
”You taught me.”
Mentor shook their head slowly. “No. I taught you how to reign Ataraxia, how to manipulate your natural rhythm and harness energy. I did not teach you to do this.” They gestured out the window. Below the snowy mountain bunker, a fortress lay flaming with smoke and destruction. “This… this is what a villain would do. Villain’s Name had too much influence on you over the last few months. You became too similar. Too close.”
Hero’s bottom lip trembled. “Fuck you.” The sound of their name was like a punch to the gut.
“I know it’s been hard for you. I’ve given you time. The League has given you time. But grief can only be so much of an excuse.“ Mentor paused. “Do you see, down there? The suffering you’ve caused those people?”
Hero clenched and unclenched their fists. Tears burned in their eyes as they watched thick, ebony smoke disappear with the Northern wind.
“Grief is no excuse for that.“
You don’t know the whole story. “Those people killed Villain.”
”No,” Mentor said strongly. “Villain killed themselves. They danced too close to the sun, and it cost them their life.“
”They didn’t know Supervillain was part of the Darker League. They couldn’t have known Supervillain would use them as bait. Use me.”
”You blame yourself.”
”Of course I do!” Hero yelled abruptly. It caused a shocking silence for a few seconds “Every day when I give myself the chance I think of what went wrong, of how I fucked up because it was me! I was the one who got too close to Villain and now they’re dead!” Their breath caught on the last word. Because of me, that was the truth. Their throat constricted, making it difficult to swallow.
“I’m not here to argue with you over who’s fault it was that Villain passed away.”
”Say it like it is,” whispered Hero. “They’re dead.”
”I’ll say it how I see it, and I see it as a broken-hearted kid who can’t tell the difference between justice and revenge.”
For a moment, the cold room became quiet. Hero stared at the metal floor as the burning in their eyes became tears rolling down their cheeks.
”So what if it’s revenge.”
”What?” Mentor took a step forward.
“So what if it’s revenge,” Hero repeated, bolder. “This satisfied feeling I feel right now? Knowing Supervillain’s corpse is burning in the bright red snow, becoming nothing more than ash? —“ Their mouth twisted into a sadistic grin. “Oh, it makes me feel so good. I wish I could watch as they burn. I wish the whole world could watch. “
“They are. Look around you, Hero. The world is watching, your point has been made. Your fixation on taking out all associates of Supervillain is unhealthy, it’s not justice.”
”So? Do you think I give a shit about yours or the Leagues superhero ‘morals’ or whatever bullshit you tell yourselves to feel better? This is sweet revenge, and justice is my workbench. I’ll keep swinging the hammer down until I’m satisfied.”
”This is what I’m talking about, Hero,” Mentor pressed. Their expression showed disappointment, but their eyes conveyed concern. “This revenge thing, it’s relentless. Please, stop causing all this misery and come home.”
”To where?” Hero scoffed with a dry smile. Their tears were gone. “To your sagging shack in the middle of nowhere, so you can what?— teach me more of your ‘sacred’ fighting skills? I’m not some stuck up little kid with too much to say, anymore. I’ve grown up, Mentor, and this is who I am.” On a moment of impulse, they jabbed their finger to Mentor’s chest, practically spitting the words in their face; “And you’re no thanks to that, because I raised myself, and I’ll keep living by myself. My home left this Earth four months ago, you’re no longer any matter to me.”
Anger flickered across Mentors features. Hero wondered briefly if they would strike them, maybe break the finger that was jabbing into their chest. It was for this reason they flinched when Mentor put a hand over theirs. Looking down at their hand, then back to Mentor — Hero saw the pain they’d just inflicted. It showed in the shimmer of Mentor’s eyes, the squeeze to their hand deep with candidness.
For a minute, all they did was stare at each other. Realization sunk into the hero that they may have just injured their mentor far beyond repair. Layers of anger peeled away, leaving emptiness. Regret.
They returned the squeeze to Mentor’s hands. “Love can make you grieve unhealthily.”
Empty.
”I’ll give the League your formal resignation.”
Completely empty.
Thank you, @tv-taught-me-how-to-flail for the prompt:
I could go for some warrior nun angst if you’re up for it (preferably one with a happy ending though) something like it’s the finale battle and Ava tricks the nuns and locks them in a cell cuz she doesn’t want any members of her new found family to get die in the battle, and she says her last goodbyes 😢 Would love of there was some avatrice thrown in there too 😉
So, I’m going to try. I’m not sure if I can write angst, though. I’m also not sure Ava would deliberately plan to lock them and leave them to self-sacrifice. It would be an impulse by fear on the moment. I hope it meets your expectations. You can read it on AO3 if you rather.
-----------------
This is wrong. Nothing is going as Ava thought it would be going. She has been training so hard since the Vatican, she shouldn’t be feeling so defeated already, she shouldn’t be defeated, period. Of course, she wasn’t expecting it to be easy, but this feels like losing. This feels like failing. Like she failed. All she can think about is that she failed and her family is going to die because of it.
For a prompt, Zeb and Kallus on mission for the Rebellion with Like Skywalker. They can't quite refrain from comparing him to Ezra.
Hope this is what you had mind! Hope you enjoy! Xxxxxxx

Zeb trudged through the mud that smothered the planet’s surface. He wished he’d listened now to when Kallus told him to put on some shoes for once. He glanced at his partner beside him, who was wearing full protective gear. His smirk said the man was refraining from telling him I told you so.
“Eww! This stuff stinks!”
Zeb turned around to glare at the young boy behind them. The Skywalker kid tried to shake the muck off his shoe only to get it covered again anytime they took a step.
“Shhhh.” Zeb growled at him. Luke sheepishly smiled an apology. Zeb quickly turned back around. Unable to look at that smile he had seen on someone else. He silently cursed Draven for paring them up with the kid. Citing that as one of the few beings in the rebellion who has worked alongside Jedi the kid was best suited to work with them. He felt Kallus brush his arm against him, no doubt knowing where his thoughts had gone. Zeb was still not convinced the man wasn’t part force sensitive. Whilst his bo-rifle remained ready in his hands, his breath relaxed, grateful for his partner’s silent comfort.
Eventually the mud led them to the base of a waterfall. A river, whose spans was larger than a star destroyer, tumbled over the edge of a cliff that was nearly a thousand feet in height. The perfect place to hide a secret scientific research lab.
“Woah…” Luke breathed next to him. Zeb turned his head to tell the kid to shut up again when he saw look on his face. His mouth was slack, and his blue eyes dazzled like a blackhole, trying to absorb the sight in front of him. Zeb had seen that look before. Especially in those first few months aboard the Ghost when they visited new planets. As someone who had been travelling through the stars for years, he forgot that there were those who has never left their own village let alone their planet.
“Come on.” Zeb said, his voice soft as he nudged the kid towards the waterfall. Once they got near, they started to crawl despite the kid’s protests, hoping the thick mud should detect them from any sensors. It must have as they made it there without any trouble. A first for one of their missions.
They made their way under the crashing waves, eventually coming to a cave big enough to home a Dreadnought. Zeb peaked around the entrance. Stormtroopers piled creates upon creates in every corner of the hole. Kallus used his scanner but couldn’t tell from his readings what was in them.
“Now Draven’s instructions were very clear.” Kallus whispered. “This is a simple recon mission. We do not want to start a fight.”
Zeb failed to hide his scoff. Kallus faced him with a resounding glare. Zeb half shrugged an apology as they kept inside. They hid behind one of the piles of creates. Luke tinkered with the controls until the top one opened.
Zeb clutched his hand to his mouth as Kallus face blanched.
“What? What are they?” Luke asked.
Inside were hundreds of blood-stained data chips, identical to the ones Zeb had seen when Rex removed them from his brothers’ head.
Before Zeb could answer, an alarm started blaring overhead. He looked around to see stormtroopers pointing their blasters at them.
“Time to go!” Kallus ordered, taking a handful of the chips. Zeb fired his bo-rife as they sped towards cave’s mouth. For the first time in over a year, he heard the ignition of a lightsabre besides him. Luke deflected the blasters with his sabre whilst Zeb shot back. He fell quickly into the old rhythm, as they made it to the entrance. Waiting for them was stormtroopers on either side and a AT-AT behind them.
Zeb looked over the edge. From here it couldn’t be more than thirty feet down, survivable. He didn’t think anymore beyond that, instead grabbing his comrades before jumping. He vaguely heard the kids screams and Kallus’ pronouncing his soon to be murder, until the waves bellow stole everything away.
Water invaded every sense of his being as he was thrashed around. He had no idea which way was up and which was down. All he was aware of was water. Miraculously, he managed to keep a tight hold of the others despite the river’s attempt to tear them apart.
Zeb had no idea how much time had passed before he felt the claw of his foot snagged on mud. Soon he could feel the soggy surface start to become more consistent beneath him. As the blur around them slowed he was able to make out the bog that made up their soundings. Once his claws could get a stable grip on the riverbed, he dragged himself with the others still under his arms to the shore. He put them down as gently as he could before collapsing onto the muddy riverbank. He was aware of Kallus crawling towards him when the man’s water trodden mutton chops leaned into his line of vision.
“Garazeb Orrelios, if you manhandle me one more time-“
“If by manhandle you mean saving your life then yeah I will.” Zeb sighed, reaching up to brush his fingers through their dripping blonde locks. Kallus breathed into his touch, pressing a kiss against his palm. That was when they realised that they hadn’t heard the kid yet.
“Kid?” Zeb said, spotting the boy nearby, his head face down in the mud.
“Karabast!”
They rushed over to him, turning him over.
“Luke! Are you ok?”
Blue eyes flittered open as a wide grin spread across his caked face.
“We did it.”
The lasat let out a sigh of relief.
“Yeah we did. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without you though. You handled yourself well out there Luke.”
That grin grew even bigger. Zeb felt his own lips turn into a smile. He glanced back at the waterfall that was now just a dot on the horizon as he helped the young Jedi to his feet.
“I’ll signal Hera for a pickup. I’m calling dibs on the first shower.”
SangCheng- Coming Home late
Prompt by OTP Prompts: Your OTP comes home after a very long drive. Person A is wide awake, but Person B is extremely exhausted and falls asleep in a very uncomfortable spot. Person A wants to carry them to bed, but there’s a problem: B is really tall and REALLY heavy, and A is very weak.
Notice: Setting takes place in modern times
Huisang had trouble falling asleep. He and A-Cheng had been a couple for a few years and ever since they moved in together, there had hardly been any time in which they did not fall asleep in each others arms. And Huisang had grown so used to it that he could not fall asleep as long his own person-pillow was not right next to him. He loved to place his head on his lovers chest and to listen to his regular hearbeat. It was like this soft melody that softly let him drift of to sleep.
Reader boosting mccrees ego with the statement “Wow, you’re really strong.”
“You sure you got all that darlin’?”
You caught your footing with a quiet grunt, your arms shaking as they struggled to hold the box of practice weapons you had just received from R&D. Sure, you should have taken the cart like the tech had suggested but the walk wasn’t that long and the boxes hadn’t felt that heavy. But maybe you had underestimated things…
“It’s a mite heavy but I go–Jess!”
Jesse leaned over grabbing the edge of the box and pulling upwards, stacking it on top of one of the boxes he was holding in his other arm. You blinked owlishly at him for a moment, his biceps tensed and showing through the fabric of his t-shirt as he carefully readjusted the load before smirking down at you.
“I got ya hon”, he answered before beginning to walk forward, no condescension in his tone. “Wouldn’t want ya to hurt yourself. Not that you can’t handle your own.”
A slow smile of appreciation creased your lips as you let him walk a few paces further, taking in the sight of his back and shoulders, dipping down to his ass briefly before catching up and lightly flicking him on the arm.
“Wow Jess you’re really strong”, you practically hummed, biting back the giggle that threatened to bubble up as you watched a pink blush begin to creep into his cheeks.
“Oh heh nah”. he chuckled softly, rubbing the back of his neck before turning away to hide the self-satisfied grin that creased his full lips.
Damn if he wasn’t cute…

Return Again
I thought my father was normal. The kind of dad who deals with work, and homework, and the troubles that come with being a single father to a seventeen-year-old girl. I didn’t know he went to a different world when he was a teenager. I didn’t know he was the Chosen One of a magic sword. I didn’t know he saved a whole kingdom, maybe their world, before he was twenty. That was thirty years ago. Now they need him back, and I’m going with him.
