Porter describes his use of stealth magic as like camouflage, huh?
That means when Alexander Bennet thought he heard someone listening in on him and Christopher at the Summit...
Can we all agree that the most vile thing to come out of the Summit plotline wasn’t the fact that all our beloved Speakers and Listeners were subjected to a murder mystery plot and vampire politics…but instead it was how hard Porter went ahead and gaslit Vincent
Vincent: So I was really stressed out about you inviting your new unempowered situationship to such an important event that already has me wanting to tear my hair out but instead of getting mad I really tried my best to make it work and figure out a good seating arrangement for them.
Porter: Wait you thought I would ACTUALLY bring a new to magic human to the summit? You’re absolutely insane lol
Do you think the mates knew about what Lovely went through with Adam, before the Summit?
Darlin possibly learned about it, I'd imagine. Either through Sam, or through Loveky themselves. Or maybe even as they were hunting down Quinn, because what happened with Lovely happened not long before Quinn came through and nearly killed Fred and Bright. And Adam's death very clearly made waves, seeing as Christopher Bennett and Porter knew (or Porter at least found out not long after returning to Dahlia...which, depending on when he heard, might make his lie meant to stress Vincent out even worse if he knew what Lovely went through). And I'd imagine maybe the Shaw pack heard through the grapevine? Maybe Sweetheart, I'd imagine the Department would catch wind of a latent whose powers were awakened after being tortured by a vampire for 24 hours, and then killed by a clan prince. Meeting Lovely, putting two and two together, Sweetheart would've figured it out.
But Babe and Angel? I don't know. Because I'm listening to the Summit trial again, and I'm thinking if it's their first time hearing about it when Vincent says he killed Adam for torturing Lovely, not because Adam "got in his way." Just imagining them looking at this still somewhat new vampire, who was once just an unempowered uninformed human like them, and it kinda just clicks like "Oh my god-"
But then I also feel bad for Lovely, because their trauma was brought up out of the blue, used to accuse their boyfriend in a trial. Not just by some vampire who was being and still is and asshole, but a guy who later turned out to be connected to the event that resulted in them dying in their boyfriend's arms and consenting to being turned, that made them believe they had lost the powers they had become so invested with.
Lovely deserves to punch more people. Fuck you, Christopher.
“The House of Solaire doesn’t need to kill to get what they want”
loud incorrect buzzer noise
porter canonically being a really good tracker is so hot.
“don’t act like you aren’t the best damn tracker in this house” i’m swooning
Your friends suck.
And when you ask him nicely, so does Porter Solaire ;)
lil gold fang >:)
Pov how we all looked during the redacted summit arc with those reaction posts
