Again due to work, no running in the week. Week six marathon training, distances are getting real! 12 miles this morning & it was daunting, & proved to be tough. I’m happy I completed it & didn’t really get lost on the heath! The longest I’ve run in nearly nine months. Great to have time on my feet, but need to drop the time. Had a few walking breaks, but not too many & they was only short. Some big hills to get up & never worth killing myself to get up them. It was good terrain to train on. I think I’ll do more on the heath’s around us. Trainers definitely don’t look new any more either. Going to relax this afternoon, had a long soak in the bath. Hopefully I’ll feel fine for a recovery run tomorrow. Then the football in the evening.
