Sibling antics of a random Wednesday:
Me: *leaves the bathroom to return to the couch where all my stuff is*
My younger brother: *is in my seat*
Me, pausing: I don't care if you sit there, but I'm going to need that blanket.
Him: *looks at me, like he's going to say something he knows I won't like*
Me: What?
Him, who had been baking previously and cannot drive: We're out of brown sugar.
Me, sighing: I'll go get dressed.
~Later~
Us: *walks out of the store with brown sugar in hand*
Me, who paid: You owe me.
Him: I'll give you your $4.32.
Me: Good.
Him: I'll do it in coins.
Me: No-
Him: In pennies!
Me: No, don't give me-
Him: I will give you 432 pennies.
Me: Please don't.
Him: Or I'll pay you in dimes.
Me, strained: I suppose... that's better than pennies.
Him: I'd still have to give you two pennies.
~Later~
Our mom: *goes into her room with her speaker on, brings it into the bathroom, and it sounds super loud in the living room/kitchen*
My younger brother and I: *Shares a look*
Him: Should I text her? It'll interrupt her music.
Me: *Stands, and knocks incessantly on her door*
Her: *answers*
Me: I don't mean to be rude, but that is so loud.
My younger brother: Yeah!
Her: It is not!
Me: Come out here, close the door, and tell me that again.
Her: *does that* It's not that loud.
My younger brother and I: *both gesture to our earbuds in our ears*
Her: Fine!
~Later~
My younger brother: How do I use these?
Me, getting up from the couch: Use what?
Him: *gestures vaguely at muffin liners*
Me, worried he's just going to set muffin liners with muffin batter in the oven: Where is the muffin tin?
Him: *Gestures to the other side of the counter*
Me: How many muffins do you want to make.
Him: Nine
Me: Ok, give me nine then.
Him: *does that*
Him: *mixing as I put the muffin liners into the muffin tin* Should I put spam in them?
Me, wondering what he's talking about: What?
Him: Should I put spam in them?
Me, turns around to look him in the eyes: Say that again.
Him, hesitates, before realizing what he said: Pam.
Me: *laughs my ass off*

"You were right, Shamura. I was greedy and careless. I didn't care what it took to get what I wanted back then. And what's worse, I hurt you too. I cannot hate you without hating myself in turn. I don't want to hate you." He gave a gentle smile, reaching up with one hand to wipe their tears. "Our whole family has made tragic decisions in the past. We’ve all hurt each other irreparably. I'd much rather spend the rest of our lives together being happy and rebuilding the bonds we once had." Shamura sagged as they released a shuddering sigh, nodding their head numbly. "Yes, yes I would quite like that. I do not understand your relationship with the Lamb, but it brings me immense joy to see you, not only happy, but at peace. And I consider it a blessing simply to be part of your life again." They clapped their hands together, a bright smile returning to their face. "Now! Let's get you ready!"
Yee new fic up! I don't think I'm very good at fluff, but this was just a fun idea. Can't have happy good times without a little angst though!
Hope you guys enjoy! Feedback appreciated as always
Me, about the cat: She purr
My sister: sheepurr?

Sister: Sheepurr.
Me: Sheep?
Sister: Sheep her?
Sister: !!!
Sister: Her sheep!
Me: her sheep?
Me: The sheep!

A true conversation between me and my sister as of 10 minutes ago
The last one isn’t in the ** things because I verbally said that
Hebe: Plants have feelings too?! What is this? Now I can't have food!
Eris: You can eat a rock.
Hephaestus: Air.
Ares: The fabric of time and space.
Enyo: Chugging a bottle of bleach can solve all your problems.
Eileithyia: ....
Hebe: You guys are not helpful.
My dad: We've gotta talk.
Me, and my younger brother, side-eyeing each other: *Has gained condition: Scared*
....
Me, whispering, later: Is he talking to me?
My younger brother, also whispering: I thought he was talking to me.
Me: He's probably talking to me.
Him: But he could be talking to me.
Me: I don't wanna talk to him.
Him: I don't either!
....
*The next day*
My younger: I think he's going to try to make me go on a walk with the dogs with him, so I'll take a shower to avoid that.
Me: No! I was going to take a shower to avoid that!
Him: We obviously can't both shower in time to avoid that!
Me: Clearly, but it's the best option!
....
*Later, when our dad is at the store*
Me: I have an idea.
My younger brother: What?
Me: Strength in numbers.
Him, looking between me and the anime on the living room TV: In... what context?
Me: Neither of us leave the other alone with dad.
Him: Oh!
Me: So that way he can't get us alone to lecture us!
Him: And if he makes me go on a walk, you go with me.
Me: And if he makes me go on a walk, you go with me.
Him: Obviously.
Us: *High fives*
.....
*later*
My dad, after we outlast him in not being tired: (my name) I still need to have that talk with you.
Me, panicking: *Looks to younger brother*
Him: *sighing in relief that it isn't him*
Him, after my dad leaves the room, whispering: Strength in numbers.
Me: Strength in numbers isn't gonna work if he's going to find a way to single me out.
Him: We'll find a way!
You know, sometimes, my older brother has the best advice...even if it is a little crude.
"(after I told him that I've been feeling down lately and my Inner Critic has been on overdrive.) Why the fuck do you listen to that bitch?"
Little sister: *sees me on my iPod* "If you stay in your room on that all the time you're gonna end up alone."
Me: "I already am alone."
