I say Helluva Boss works great as a relationship drama. The title is fitting, because Blitzø is so terrified of losing and failing relationships, he needs to use the pretext of his job to actually try connecting to people. He found his daughter when he was just trying to find a Hellhound as a secretary or something. Then of course there’s the hot mess of Stolitz, and how they started on such unequal footing.

The contrast is also just natural, reminding us how emotional fulfillment gets crushed underneath financial reality.

Also I just realized, couldn’t we have been spelling it as “Stolitzø” this entire time?

This image/scene absolutely wrecks me because it shows how comfortable they are with being physically close to one another, but not emotionally. They lean on each other so easily, like it's breathing. The only thing I could think about the entire time was how smoothly Blitzø catches Stolas, how quickly Stolas ushers him away and makes sure no one recognizes him, how Stolas trusts Blitzø to catch him and Blitzø won't let him fall. They fit together perfectly like this. I feel like this is their one way of communicating without misunderstandings, they know each other's physicality better than they know how the other is feeling. Because being physically together is the only way they've been able to show affection, so of course that's how they best know each other. That's probably why Blitzø came back to fuck anyways, because it's his most comfortable way of showing affection without being too vulnerable but also by being extremely vulnerable at the same time.

I hope that, eventually, they know each other's emotions as good as they know each other physically.

I thought Apology Tour was achingly beautiful, and will leave room for both Blitzø and Stolas to work on themselves before they can be together. They got some space, they talked a little, saw their own faults as well as each other's, now they gotta work on making themselves better people. But they gotta do it for themselves, not for each other.

Seeing Stolas have fun and dance with the other guy broke my heart in different ways. It was rough seeing the pained look on Blitzø's face, but it was also really beautiful to see Stolas happy for a little bit. This was honestly my favorite episode
