relieved to only have two final exams this year!! (perks of ap course exams and final projects) in a mere 96 hours, i will be finishing up my last day of school, satisfied at having aced both my finals, relaxing in lit with a really good book.

Open letter to bullet journals on unlined paper

Dear bullet journal,

I know you were handmade with love and I have let you sit on my shelf for months now. It’s not you, it’s me. I surround myself with pictures of perfectly lined aesthetic notes and throw myself into a field of study where competition and striving for perfection are high.

I am going to do my best to use you to the fullest. I promise I won’t give up on you after using 1/8th of your potential. I’m going to forgive every crooked line I write and inconsistency in theme. I am a flawed person and embracing my flaws in this form will hopefully help me to embrace my flaws elsewhere.

So yeah, I feel like there’s a ton of pressure sometimes in the studyblr community for things to look a certain way, but we all know when it comes down to it everyone needs to do what’s best for themselves. Had a wonderful weekend getaway Saturday night, but I came home to a slew of assignments and tests.

Thankfully school is canceled tomorrow which means extra time to study for my optics exam! So far the class hasn’t been too difficult, but it is taught by my research adviser so I feel a lot of pressure to try and impress her.

I am camping out at my best friends apartment sitting on the couch and studying all night and then taking a break tomorrow and enjoying the snow day.

Third week of the semester really feels like everything is getting real.

So to celebrate moving into a2, I ordered stuff from Amazon. I looked for a bag, and found one. Then found bag for pencils. Then a bag for my lunch. Then a travel mug because the pattern matched. In conclusion: I have a problem, and my bank account is suffering.
