This is the first installment in which you learn about the setting of these characters. I really skipped ahead and started translating some of their solos, so without some context it could get confusing. But now you don't need to worry about getting lost!

Finally, here are the translations for the Worlds and Guilds that are at play inside Machine Elements~! What’s everyone’s favorite guild~? XD
Oh! If you’re wondering why Swiiiiiits! doesn’t have a listed base, it’s because they’re sort of this “elusive, phantom guild” whose bases are actually unknown ^^

① —— The White Demon Stone『Byakko』
A large monolith located at the center of the world where Procellarum’s base is located.
A long time ago, it was said that a large tiger from the West arrived and took a liking to the vast grasslands. Legend has it that it slept there and eventually turned into the giant monolith that it is now.
② —— Industrial City『Touda』
VAZZY’s base. It is a large industrial city located at the foot of a mountain. They mine for rare minerals, jewels, and rocks. It is a city famous for being the gathering place of rather rough and violent people. Although the public order is not too maintained, it is a rather lively city.
③ —— Machine City『Suzaku』
SolidS and QUELL’s base, a large city famous for its craftsmen. It is a city where there are ruins and machines at every turn. It is very famous for holding a ceremony twice a year where all the craftsmen’s skills are tested simultaneously.
④ —— Art City『Rikugo』
The world’s most beautiful city and ROCK DOWN’s base. It is filled with many art galleries, museums, and educational institutions. Many students from all over the world gather here.
⑤ —— Commercial City『Seiryou』
A city that’s very vital to commercial trade. It is a city where ore, jewels, works of art, treasures from excavated ruins, and all kinds of things are sold. It is a city where merchants gather. Near the city are the Windy Hills that SOARA use for a base.
⑥ —— Greenery Valley
A very lush valley that lies at the foot of a very vast desert. Sleeping in the deepest part of the valley is a historic ruin that’s being preserved. Managing those ruins is a huge part of Growth Guildmaster’s duties. Lately, parts of the valley are being eroded by the desert.

The place where the Floating Ruins [Genbu] was first seen. [Genbu] continues to move so its current location is unknown.

Base: A Large Floating Ruin 『Genbu』
A guild that suddenly rose due to the surfacing of a certain ruin. With a large floating ruin as their base, they are able to travel around the world. With their Ruin being an ancient civilization full of overwhelming knowledge and skill, they are a group surrounded by mystery.
Base: The White Demon Stone『Byakko』
The world’s first guild. They are stationed on the center of the world in a white monolith as huge as a mountain surrounded by vast grasslands.
Since they operate on an “anything goes” basis, they had history of helping various people from all over the world that they had sometimes forgotten to take care of their own nation.
Base: Machine City『Suzaku』
A guild based around a big city. A person called [Meister] used to rule over them for a long time but, after disagreeing with many political disputes and different lifestyles, he has since retired. With their wide knowledge of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, they are a guild with a mastery of using fire. They’re always being targeted by the military states
Base: Machine City『Suzaku』
A guild governed by a fairly young [Meister] who’s very skilled with using the water element. Being able to use the water’s elements, they are effective healers and are therefore in demand with the general public. They got involved in the story after they obtained a rare mineral from a certain person’s request.
Base: Windy Hills of Commercial City
They established their base on a hill located in the region of 『Seiryou』 [lit. Blue Dragon] which is in the middle of the continent. The guild members have owned mechanical birds called 『kazatori』 for generations, inheriting them from an ancient civilization. Its duties at each household differ. The guild specializes in the transmission of messages and communication, and they have their own original information network.” (translated by @moonlit-manifesto)
Base: Greenery Valley
This guild resides in a verdant valley at the edge of a desert. At the deepest part of the valley lies an archaeological site that preserves the green of the area which the guild families have maintained for generations. In recent years, the valley has been gradually starting to be eroded by the desert. A guild based in an industrial city at the foot of a mountainous area.
It is made functional by the appraisal of scarce minerals, jewels, rocks, and excavations of ruins.
However, there are times when it is necessary for one to mine, excavate, and survey an area by themselves.
Base: Art City『Rikugo』
A guild based at the world’s most beautiful art city. Minerals, precious gems, beautiful works of art, and even the excavation of historic ruins. As long as it can be of value, it is produced.
If they have something they absolutely want to get their hands on, they will go to the ends of the earth to obtain it.

The phantom guild that has lately been causing a stir.
The talk of the town is that they execute grandiose stealing techniques without hurting people but, there have actually been no known information about its members and their base. It seems like their target is to excavate ruins around the world.
