splitting fucking sucks
- Leslie
Okay so um instead of a bunch of posts we'll make it a single one
kasai keeps saying "i wish we died with our elder brother like rigr and urd" shut the fuck up please thank you
little thinks that Urd's thoughts about rigr is how we feel towards our elder brother AND WE'RE GETTING HIT BY A MEMORY BEAM HOLY FUCK NO
rigr doesn't even fucking care that Urd died in front of him
"i always loved you" well nobody loved you bitch
holy shit brainfog is getting real bad rn are we splitting? is this what it looks like?
we'll post about the chapter later oh my fucking god the headache came back oh fuck no
the post said something like “i don’t understand my splitting pattern or even if i split this alter in the first place / if that’s possible”
in short, yes! and that’s normal to not understand splitting.
the more complex answer is; yes other alters (that aren’t the host) can split alters, fragments, partial alters.. so on. the most common result to an alter that splits and alter that isn’t the host is either that they just split off of them and then go on like any other alter or they become a subsystem,,
the reason why the host splits more often or is often assumed to split more is because they have direct contact with the outside world most often. (at least this is my explanation for it) and as a host learns more about trauma this gives a more unstable ground and hence, the reason they split more to make up for that unstable-ness.
now it is very normal for systems to not understand splitting or splitting pattern and that’s perfectly fine. i don’t even understand our own, and i don’t always know who has split who. this is normal and perfectly fine. especially for us as a HC - pf system i don’t really try and figure it out unless it’s like deeply important or something.
AUGAHDJKSK WHAT IN THE SPLIT MAN
Question!
What’s the funniest/most unfortunate/what have you time you’ve split?
I’ll start. Watching the new Mission Impossible. In the theater. With our mom right next to us.
The whole split didn’t happen during the movie (it didn’t stop until the next morning), but that first hour-ish of it was a //trip//
So, stories?
Found a new headmate. No name yet, but yesterday or the day before we kinda saw him more clearly the first time. Still cant see markings or what he actually looks like very well
However we do know:
He's related to Robyn somehow. In the way that we'd pair them together in counts and organize them side by side. We dunno what the correlation is but its similar energy to Kiba, Zim, and Wolf [in slight ways]
He is a king cheetah, the name King was considered. He has a big scruff like a cub who never lost their protective fur, and fluffy head hair that is light and has dark markings in it we havent perceived yet.
He's a sweetheart, remembers pain in the body, has an unfortunate addiction to cortisol.
But he also remembered space. He came out after watching owl house and space documentaries. We've been sensing him as we did JWST research. He commented about HUBBLE before we knew he was there. Still submerged in the liquid abyss, he saw visions of the Cosmosphere near our homeland when we were children. He remembers space.
He remembers his love for learning in ways Zim and Kiba dont share to the same degree. His enthusiasm outweighs Mitten somehow. He is an extraordinary new face in our group and we're happy to invite him in, and so curious to find out his name.
Me: Reading webcomics to try to avoid feelings of impending doom from sensory overload and stress from workload
The Brain: Hm maybe this comic could help us
Result: I am still stressed and overstimulated but now also stuck with a grown ass man singing Frozen songs on loop.
