More small observations
Roma has shown the first instance of having the ability to freely alter her body into kagune and then reverting those parts back into flesh.
The only other characters who have shown to utilize kagune from their body parts so far are Kaneki, Kurona and Amon. The difference is that all three of them suffer a condition where their body is unable to heal properly and instead their body becomes infused with kagune, on varying levels.
However, the scientists of the CCG were able to fix Amon’s healing problem and now he no longer has a kagune arm. This makes me wonder if Amon is still incapable of using kagune from his body parts.
Speaking of Amon, I also noticed a small connection between him and Roma. It would seem that ghouls with absurdly high RC levels and massive kakuja’s become incredibly vascular when using their RC cells:
I really want to find out more about how RC cells function.
UPDATE:
As @carloskz pointed out, it appears that Amon can do the same kagune formation as Roma now, as this panel shows kagune forming on his arm and not coming from his shoulder, where the ukaku is based:
This panel also shows Kaneki using the same move, except Kaneki’s arms are permanently kagune.
