one of the things that makes the guard so tragic to me is the idea that every thing they do to protect themselves is exactly what estranges them from their brothers.

the GAR views their lack of tattoos, dyed hair, marks on their armor as a dismissal of the individuality all clones hold dear. in reality, the guard want individuality, but they know it would be their downfall. the more alike they look, the less identifying features they have, the harder it is for senators to target them. standing out is a death sentence in the core.

they don't communicate with their brothers, don't meet up for drinks? less chance for their brothers to get dragged into the rot in the core. the GAR doesn't see it that way, of course.

they're fearful of jedi? don't trust them? of course they are. they've never been shown a jedi's kindness, not in the way the GAR has. but all the GAR sees in this is that the guard isn't willing to trust their judgement, their jedi.

Omg, thank you! This is very inspiring to hear. :'D Took a few days off for health reasons but am back to working on the demo today, which has been... is fun even the right word for this chapter? Ahaha. "Rewarding" might be more honest.

But this is such a good ask. The twins are the most spoilerish, so here is your answer in plain words about what the non-RO's reactions would / will (?) be!

Aikani is MYSTIFIED but also probably crying a little because... w-what? WHY ME?!

And now she wants to snatch the notebook from your hands and rip out that page and roll it up and stuff it into her sleeve for safekeeping, very badly. But she won't, because she's too afraid of you.

And that would be wrong.

But mostly, because she's afraid of you.

As for the guard, glimpsing a depiction of the armoured warden everyone else sees only as U's companion - through your eyes - awakens something within. Something that's been asleep beneath that polished breastplate for a very, very long time.
