Storm's 50th Anniversary Pits Her Against Thunder Gods
Marvel Comics is celebrating Ororo Munroe / Storm's 50th anniversary. The milestone issue Storm #7 will assemble Thunder Gods to put Storm's skills to the test. Storm #7 will be written by Murewa Ayodele and drawn by Luciano Vecchio, who designed the look of the Thunder Gods.
Storm #7 will see both a mission to Brazil going "horrible wrong" as well as the debut/reinvention/guest appearance of the Thunder Gods Thor, Chaac, Sango, Mamaragan, and Susanoo.
Storm #7, featuring a main cover by Mateus Manhanini, a variant cover by Gerald Parel, and a variant cover and virgin variant cover by Marguerite Sauvage, goes on sale on April 9, 2025.

If you’ve been watching meteorologists’ predictions this past week, you’ll have noticed how frequently and wildly projections of her path have changed. She is a massive, powerful, and unpredictable force. Storms like Florence remind us of Mother Nature’s terrible power and that, in spite of all our cunning and advanced technology, we cannot control her; we remain subject to her, a small part of the greater tapestry of teeming, whirling life.
