It is 100% okay for somebody under the age of 18/20/25 -or whatever age the folks are saying these days- to identify as Aesexual, Aromatic, Aroace, or any other identity on the spectrum!
I actually can't believe I have to say this! But identity is not age specific! Sexuality and gender are not for only specific, cherry-picked people to use! If someone believes they are on the spectrum then you should treat them like they are!
Even if they turn out to be a “Late Bloomer” or whatever the hell, that doesn't matter! And certainly shouldn't matter to you! It's not your business! That's their business! Gender identities and sexualities are not ride or die! They can -and in many cases DO- change over time!
How many lgbt+ people (especially in the older generations) started out thinking they were straight/cisgender/whatever, only to realize later that they weren't? LOTS! If we said everyone had to stay in the exact labels we started out using, we wouldn't even have three quarters of the lgbt+ community!!
