You know it’s love when you’re at distance but distant.
تم نے یہ کیسا رابطہ رکھا ہے نہ ملے ہو نہ فاصلہ رکھا ہے
You are a thousand miles away but no one is closer to my heart than you.
بہت دوریاں ہیں تم سے پر تم سے زیادہ کوئی قریب نہیں
Everytime I distance myself from you. something deep down inside me prays to God, something begs God to intervene and prevent me.
تجھ کو یقین آئے نہ آئے یہ اور بات
میں تجھ سے دور رہ کہ بھی تیرے پاس ہی ہوں
Perhaps after this distance Allah bring about a permanent closeness.
یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ آنکھ بگھونے لگ جاؤں
وہ کہے کیسے ہو آپ؟اور میں رونے لگ جاؤں
Maybe the bitterness of the distance, was to teach us the sweetness of your nearness.
