Today’s progress: I wrote a sentence. Tomorrow: maybe I’ll write another...? 👀
Waited so much for a fic only to find out that the author is using AI to write it... And didn't even read it before posting.
Honestly dropping it after that.
The whole point of writing a fan work is to improve your writing with something fun, and here you are asking a machine to do it.
Update:
The author deleted the part with the AI quote, deleted all the comments exposing the AI writing and is brushing everything off with "oh I've made some questionable decisions, but I'm humble now and here's the fixed version". So... I don't know what to think about it. I really, REALLY, hate AI so for me the fic lost all magic and the author pretending it was just a casual mistake makes me wonder since when they were using the AI to write in first place and if they truly will stop using it or just pay more attention on not exposing themselves again.
I'm still disappointed and pissed about it, lol. That was truly a story that I enjoyed. Fuck...
Yesterday: 2,000 words Today: 158 ugh. you win some you lose some.
how do I search up how long before a dead body smells without seeming like a murder…
Editing is so boring…
Editing is so boring… it almost feels like a consequence of writing. It turns out that in 4,000 words, I can have more than 90% of glaring, unforgivable errors 😳🙃
Buuuut oh well… Anything to have a book that people can read without their eyes bleeding 🙃🤍
for all my writer friends:
whatever your word count, it's okay.
a small word count means you got your words across quickly and sweetly, while a large word count means more content for your readers.
sometimes chapters are big, sometimes they're small. whatever it is, it doesn't dictate your value.
you're doing so well, keep it up :D
