Had a beauty of a float last weekend. It was the first in a while where I was really able to surrender and feel myself dissolve into the void. It's useless tryin to communicate the paradox of how this emptiness and this nothingness is actually so full and filled with such bliss and love. But others who have had this experience underatand without words. For a while my mind was so busy and my body so tense I couldn't totally get what I remembered having from previous floats. This is why its so important to never have expectations about hows its gonna be in there. Just let go and let the experince be what ever it is. Without judgment. This book has really been givin it to me. An Ayahuasca Shaman once told me "Sometimes, the only way to cure brainwashing is with more brainwashing." Thats all words can ever be. But this book points to a state of being that we can all achieve with practice. The world is full of division and anger. What we need now more than ever is love and unity. Had an wonderful float on Tuesday. My floats, latley, have been starting out adressing all the issues in my physical body. I have all kinds of wierd twiches and quick spasms. Sometimes a certain muscle will just vibrate for a few seconds. This goes on for a while as my body slowly lets go of all the tension. Most of the float there after was spend in a very pleasent state of emptiness. My mind was truely still and without activity. Just breathing, my blood pulsing, and vast empty space. Bliss. A thought did come eventually, it was all about the question; what is true love? It became obviouse that true love is so vast its totally non-personal. Has nothing to do with ownership. True love towards an individual is not a wanting to have them yourself, but a very real and present feeling of wanting only the highest good for that person, and basing ones actions toward them, or lack there of, upon that ideal. Furthermore, that loves highest point is wanting only that highest good for all beings. Every person, aminal, plant and grain of sand. Living this way can't lead to anything other than a fullfilled life filled with passion, devotion and purpose. I truly believe the float tanks, yoga, and other practices can and will eventually cultivate that same feeling I'm describing. We can all get it goin if we want it. But not without some effort. Caught an eyefull of the sun headin down last night. It was a beautiful post float walk from @thefloatcentre. The float was very busy and it took a long time before my mind played itself out and was still. But none the less, regardless of what takes place in the tank, I always feel lighter and better off afterword everytime.
