every day I think about how Jack/Vlad could've actually been a decently popular ship from day 1 (they got the enemies to lovers, they got the grumpy x sunshine dynamic, they are cat and dog coded, there's a tragic past and dark secrets!!! they even have some height difference!!!!!) but they were cursed with the unfortunate fate of the show airing in 2004 and Jack being a fat middle aged man during a time where all yaoi had to be malnourished twinks 😔

Okay so, the GIW and Danny’s suit. I know that the GIW show up way later and probably were not a thought at the time, but it’s… interesting that Danny’s suit, before it got color inverted and then—disappeared from his human form?—, it was white then, with black details. It’s noticeably different from his parents, yes, but ALSO different from the ones Jack put aside for Jazz. So why was the one Danny grabbed white? (I mean, other than aesthetic.)

Was it just an undyed (ha) jumpsuit? Do the dyes do anything for ecto protection? Did the GIW exist before hand and supplied some of the things the Fentons had in their lab? And some stories like to say that Maddie and Jack majored in ecto biology—so who established that? Or was it paranormal studies, which irl is an offshoot of psychology (at least in the educational sphere)? Because THATS an interesting angle for Jazz actually.

Further, let’s say Danny, as Phantom, says that ah yeah, his clothes are what he died in just color reversed, so go be fashion aware because it might become your ghost outfit forever! He’s probably joking, especially as we know ghost outfits CAN change without the convoluted mess with Sam and Desiree.

And so while they don’t think to apply that to his face and hair, for whatever reason you wanna give, but they note that this meant he was wearing all white.

And, you know, those GIW… are QUITE fixated on Phantom. And ghosts weren’t a well known phenomenon before then, so. How did they study ghosts? How did they study death?

… and, who was Phantom before he was Phantom?

I know I was talking about Danny having an IEP yesterday but tbh he'd probably have a 504, right? Because him being a half ghost impacts his access to school, but does not impact the curriculum? This would fall under "needs access to the learning environment" more than "needs specialized instruction" because canonically he's been shown that he can follow the curriculum outside of his chronic absenteeism.

Okay so this said, if I wanted to give Danny an IEP then I'd probably need to write that the lab accident did more than just turn him into a half ghost. Like, it affected his information processing or gave him an SLD or something.

There's an event where Justice League hero events are held. Danny is the staff member who wears the mascot costume. Taking a picture with the kids and visitors.

Soon there was a robbery. Danny can't leave people in the event to be injured. So he goes fight the robbers in a Justice League mascot costume.

And a video of him fighting in that mascot was post on the internet.

Bonus points if Danny used a fake name/ id or stole someone else's identity to get the job and upon investigation no one knows who he was.

The JL are worried about this kid and want to know whats going on. Who was the mascot of exactly? Cause if he's wearing a chibi batman outfit at least one of the batkids are going to be there taking pictures either in or out of costume.

I can see Danny greeting Dick in full Nightwing gear and Danny assuming its a really good complaint.

Same with the superboys if he's wearing a chibi Superman. I want them to be horrified when Dannys heart stops beating when Danny catches a fist. The mascot only gives the robbers firm and threatening, "No." Before knocking them out cold.

Oh, what if Constantine or Zatanna are there?

If this version of Danny has mastered his own portals I would love for him to just grab the robber, drag them kicking and screaming into the mascot’s mouth and then portaling them away, resulting in everyone staring in horror as the mascot chomps up robbers left and right and them completely disappearing.

You know what would make for a great story? Sokka demanding that Zuko find his space sword (I have personal bias in favour that dark blade mmrrrr, sexy, yeah I'm thirsting over a blade)

Because... Zuko's really good at finding things. He found Aang. The Gaang had been looking for Appa for days—but Zuko found him the day he started looking. He found his mum. He's meant to find things.

And Sokka just bam slam bursts in one day and says “hurry up! We're gonna find my sword. You owe me that much!”

And they go on a nice (or not so nice) little adventure.

Alternatively, my headcanon is Zuko wants to find Sokka’s sword for reasons unclear to him at the start so he summons his favorite metal bender to help find it and fulfill the life changing field trip she never got.

The whole time she’s grilling him like why are we doing all this for a sword? And he’s like why wouldn’t I try to recover this lost weapon in the middle of a giant forest somewhere for my buddy? And she’s like wow you’re really dumb huh, and it ends up being more life-changing for Zuko than Toph as she has to spell it out for him that he’s in love with Sokka.
