Help a transman get on T!!!
Hello my name is Levi and I’m a 22yo transman trying to get on T. I have no health insurance and my state requires that I pay for all labs upfront, so the first couple months are gonna cost me around $500.
I am a full time student with two part time jobs trying to save up to move out of a transphobic environment. If you want to help, ANY amount donated will help tremendously. Please reblog to spread!! DONATION LINK:

the moment we stopped viewing the LGBT community as a necessity for civil and social rights and started viewing it as a fun club where everyone within it needs a Very Specific Sexual Identity and Everyone Is Valid and there are Hard Boundaries between every sexuality and gender was the moment we were all fucked.
When we insist every identity under the LGBT umbrella is incredibly unique and different from every other identity, there is a deep artificial divide created between bi women + lesbians, bi men + gay men, etc. there’s so much biphobia in the community and i think its rlly due to people focusing way too hard on making sure Every Identity Feels Secure and not enough on solidarity.
you guys add stone butch blues to your reading lists but i don’t think any of you actually read it considering the way you’re treating bi women like they aren’t real wlw or transhet men like they can’t resonate with lesbian experiences. I’m sure this is a fucking newsflash for you, but we’re all the same to cishets. no single sexuality under the LGBT umbrella- yes, this ABSOLUTELY includes hets, as long as they’re trans- oppresses another. “appropriating other sexualities” just isn’t a thing unless you’re cishet.
The divide ppl insist is there is entirely made up and actually HELPS cishets, so can we please reduce these fake ass intracommunity conflicts and focus on real ones like transgender, specifically transfem, oppression at the hands of cisgays? or is that REAL issue too uncomfortable for you guys to handle lmao
Successful trans men
I wish I knew about men like these growing up, I wish I knew that trans men could be successful after a lifetime of never seeing anyone ‘like me’ excelling in life. So here are some trans men - some that you may have heard of, some that you may not - that are successful in a range of careers. Never let being trans hold you back, never think you can’t do something, never think there is not a place for you.
Ben Barres American neurobiologist for Stanford University and advocate for women in science. Barre’s research on the interactions between glial cells and neurons changed the way that we understand the brain and opened up a whole new field of research.

Whittle has been heavily involved in trans activism since joining the Self Help Association for Transsexuals in 1979. His research and activism has been instrumental in ensuring the rights of trans people in the UK.
Michael D Cohen Actor, teacher and coach. Making his break in award-winning Nickelodeon sitcoms Harvey Danger and Danger Force he was the first series regular actor to publicly come out as transgender. Cohen has a BSc in cell biology and a masters degree in adult education, teaching at his own acting studio and providing workshops.
Chris Mosier American triathlete and award-winning coach. Six time member of Team USA in both duathlon and triathlon, Mosier also won two national championships in racewalking and was the first transgender athlete to qualify for the Olympic trials to compete against other members of his gender.
Yance Ford African-American film producer and director. Ford received an Emmy for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking and was nominated for an Oscar for his part in producing and directing the documentary Strong Island which follows the death of his brother.

Shane Ortega Native American former flight engineer in the US army, former marine and professional bodybuilder. Throughout his career Ortega has served in Iraq and Afghanistan in over 400 combat missions. He has a long history of advocating for the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and the recent banning on transgender service members in the US army.
Drago Renteria Chicano photojournalist and deaf and LGBT activist. Renteria founded the Deaf Queer Resource and is CEO of DeafVision - a webhosting and development company run by deaf people and the founder of the National Deaf LGBTQ Archives. Renteria has been instrumental in both creating and hosting many online deaf/queer spaces online along with being heavily involved in real-world activism for decades.
Phillipe Cunningham Elected city councillor for ward 4 Minneapolis and previous special education teacher, Cunningham holds a masters degrees in Organizational Leadership & Civic Engagement and in Police Administration and is passionate about tacking inequalities in his community.
Sometimes I find myself unconsciously believing all the bullshit about how I’m “pretending” or how this is a “phase” and “trend”. And that in part comes from the lack of representation and allowing the transphobes to use my insecurities to gaslight me
Knowing our history and our roots are so important. Trans people have always been here and always will be here. ✊🏳️⚧️

That’s not even all of GORGEOUS BROWN GEMS THAT EXIST IN THIS WORLD. Just like there are a lot of beautiful brown gems they’re a lot of BEAUTIFUL BROWN EYES. BROWN IS A GORGEOUS COLOR. Start treating it like one.
I am so glad someone did this.
if you don’t want someone to have brown eyes because you can’t compare them to a gem then you’re a bad writer

every person reblogging this that's taller than 50 or more people: this post isn't for you it's for us manlets and short kings
among us: tips for imposters
i thought i’d write down some tips i could think of since i started playing this game like 4 days ago lmao. being the imposter is stressful for a lot of people so here’s a bit of advice that’s worked for me:
always pretend like you’re on your way to/in the middle of a task. when the game starts, go and stand by the first module you can think of.
use vents very sparingly - i only use them to escape from the scene of a crime. make sure no one’s in the surrounding rooms/halls who could see you.
when doing a critical sabotage, make sure you are far away from the room when it starts, and run towards it so that people won’t accuse you of doing nothing. if need be, help fix it yourself in order to make people trust you.
self report is a good strategy. simply kill, vent/run to a nearby room, run into the scene of the crime (preferably with others watching) and report your own kill. make sure to tell people where the body was and, if you can, pin it on someone else who was nearby.
this is a big one: make others trust you by doing “tasks” alone with them, without killing them. this will make them likely to vouch for you in discussions.
this one also useful for when you’re a crewmate: in discussions, don’t be quick to vote or accuse others without evidence. i’ve voted a lot of people out of the ship based on this. let other people do the accusing unless there is someone really convenient you can say is acting sus.
I haven’t actually been an impostor yet, but I appreciate this tips!

After I came out as bi a few years ago, a fellow Chinese American asked me, “so does this mean you want to be like white people?”
As QTBIPOC, a form of LGBTQA-phobia we often face is from our own ethnic groups, who believe that queer = foreign.
Yet when we delve into our histories, we see that nothing could be further than the truth. In many of our cultures, before Western influence, our queerness was ANCIENT. ✨
I WOULD PAY TEN TIMES AS MUCH FOR CHOCOLATE IF IT MEANT REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SLAVES IN THE WORLD? HOW IS THIS ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
good news, you can! the company’s called Tony’s Chocolonely and their entire purpose is to make slave-free chocolate and reform the chocolate industry.

Whole Foods carries it. If you don’t want to support an Amazon-owned company, World Market carries it. You can also buy it directly from the company.
It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever had and it’s 100% slave free. Tony’s Chocolonely works really hard to push for transparency within the chocolate industry and actually has and is following an action plan to eliminate slavery within cocoa production. They’re good people who make good chocolate.
