Hey, I go by Alimode or Ali and this is a long shot in the dark but I have a mighty need and I will literally be best friends with anyone who can make this happen for me. I normally don’t like mixing OCs with canon characters but I wanna roleplay this so bad.

I have four-ish characters in mind to chose from for it so I’ll leave a lil blurb about each of them so you can get their vibes. If none of them seem interesting, I do have a few others I could suggest. Each character has an intended character or two for them but I’m happy with any of the mercenaries or combinations thereof, or honestly, even just an oc in a similar situation.
So I’ve got Rishil, a gal who’s lead a life full of fighting so finding herself with them isn’t really anything new. She’s highly stoic, barely had a childhood, but really isn’t all that violent despite her upbringing. Quite the opposite actually, she’s too disciplined. She’s a bit older at 14 but needs the care just as well. Would connect most with Engineer as he could keep her busy with her hands. Heavy is also a good contender given his understanding of how to balance violence. He loves it but knows there is a time and a place, y’know?
Lori is a tiny, genius, brat. She’s snarky and too smart for her own good. She’s also lead a really unlucky life filled with tragic deaths all leading to her ending up homeless. For a time, she had her brother with her but he also ultimately dies leaving her on her own. She would likely respect the likes of Spy most but he would absolutely hate her. In the end, she would actually prefer to hang around Sniper because he reminds her a little of her brother. She will give any of the boys a run for their money though, very mouthy this one. I typically play her around 11 or so.
Next is Linnea, a very shy and timid sort with an intense fear of fire due to an accident when she was really young. She’s very artistic and friendly though and provides the biggest contrast with the cast. She’d likely pair well with, depending on how you play him, Medic of all people. I could see him appreciating her quiet nature and having patience with her not really being willing to talk much at first. Demoman is also a decent pick to pair with her given both have Scottish backgrounds. She’s 10 when the accident happens.
My newest kiddo Shiloh, is nonbinary with they/them pronouns. They are mostly ignored by their parents so they’ve taken on a sort of rebellious but lazy persona as a mask. They pretend to feel apathetic towards the situation but they are desperate to be seen. The fact they’re 99% non-verbal and speak in partially made up sign language doesn’t help. There isn’t a particular merc they would gravitate towards because they tend not to be very trusting even if they act friendly. But that also means once they start getting along with the group they would get along with anyone. If I had to pick, I think Spy would create an interesting dynamic with their impish jester ways. Their age can vary from 8 to even 15.
