The L Files is opening up for commissions!
Hi you all, I decided to try my chance with commissions, I created a Form where you can find all the information:

This is the final work I have done for the DuckZine fanzine, and it's a special one! The illustration was created to accompany a poll that inquired about which character gave the best hugs. Fans crowned Launchpad McQuack as the winner! And really, who could disagree? In other news, I'm open to commissions, check my commission form: The L Files Commission Form
In the Disney comics, it’s a running gag that the Duck Avenger and Paperinika cannot figure out their secret identities, while disliking each other...
A fun trope that became the subject of my second contribution to DuckZine, “Suspicion…”
You liked? I’m open to commissions! Check here:
Welcome to the commission form of the L files! My name is Alessandro and you can ask for 4 types of commissions: A rough sketch (15€); A lin
Well, my graduation animated short is now available on YouTube, is now the occasion to discover the crazy adventures of Emboucanator and to appreciate the work of me and my teammates Pauline Lisi, Sarah Levacher-Robinet, David Renoux, Simon Renoux and Hadrien Brenn.
It's ironic to share this in January, but with @duck-zine leftover sales now starting I can show to you my main contribution, "The Joie de Vivre in Spring"!
Go to Duck Zine website to pick your copy:
My gift for @mediocre-artist9001 done for the TMNT holiday gift exchange. Happy holidays!
Hello Tumblr, happy (very late) holidays!
So, I mainly post art in this blog, but actually my main job is 3D rigging. What's 3D rigging?
In 3D animation the animator uses a "puppet" that he then animates. However to move the "puppet" you need a skeleton and a set of controls to allow the "magic" to be made. This is the role of the 3D rigger, to create the skeleton so that the "puppet" can move. The process is similar in 2D puppet animation by the way.
So enjoy my 3D rigging showreel, featuring the characters from the animated short "Emboucanator"!
The trailer of our animated short film Emboucanator is out! This was a team effort done at Ecole MOPA between me, David Renoux, Simon Renoux, Pauline LISI, Sarah Levacher-Robinet and Hadrien Brenn. Enjoy!
So a few weeks ago, the Ecole MOPA graduation animated short Emboucanator was projected in the Théâtre Antique in Arles. It was a team effort between me, Pauline LISI, Sarah Levacher-Robinet, Hadrien Brenn, Simon Renoux and David Renoux. The entire short wil be available more or less a year from now, so for now enjoy the poster and some images, trailer coming soon!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
Happy (late) Halloween!
Back in August the italian Disney comics forum Papersera asked its users to draw a celebratory logo for its twentieth anniversary. These were my two submissions. They weren't picked, but it was still fun doing it (congrats to Max Monteduro and Lorenzo De Pretto again)!
A concept art created for "Raifort Samurai", I wanted to explore how to create an interesting dusk setting. Enjoy!
This animated short answered a unique question: what would happen if you crossed Caspar David Friedrich's paintings and Monty Python's Holy Grail? Created at MoPA by me, Simon Renoux and Pauline Lisi.
So, I had a 3D exercise where the goal was to recreate in 3D a character from a pre-existing 2D artwork. The only limitation was that I had to choose from the ArtStation Challenge around the theme of Feudal Japan (https://www.artstation.com/challenges/feudal-japan). The original art was created by Servane Altermatt, go check her page on ArtStation (https://www.artstation.com/shaose)! Enjoy!
“Raifort Samurai” is an animated short created at MoPA (Arles) by Pauline Lisi, Alessandro Lamio, Anna Bourgoin, David and Simon Renoux, with a special thanks to Aldo Trousselle.
