If you wanna have tulpas, fine. Just don’t use system/DID-specific terms and we’re all good. But if you think that you have “alters” and you don’t have trauma, newsflash, you don’t! I can guarantee that either you’re making up your alters in the way that people with tulpas do, you don’t have alters to begin with, or you actually DO have trauma that you’re repressing. “Endogenic” systems don’t exist. The only way that a system can develop is through SEVERE DISSOCIATION which only occurs when someone experiences something traumatic. DISSOCIATION ONLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO THROUGH STRESSFUL EXPERIENCES. No, trauma is not included in the main criteria for DID, but that’s because it’s already implied in the name of the disorder. Pretty much all professionals will tell you that you have to go through severe, long-term trauma to develop DID. This is not a disorder that you want to have. I swear to god, I did not go through YEARS of sexual and emotional abuse to be called a fucking “sysmed” by some idiots on the internet. EDUCATE YOURSELF. DID and systems ONLY EXIST BECAUSE OF TRAUMA. If I see one more “kin-system” or “endogenic system” complain about “sysmeds” I swear to god I’ll fucking curb stomp them.
