Anyhoo, I’m finally getting into the swing of publishing my fics finally. I’m over on AO3. Also just set up a DW profile.

Started back with dS in 94. Writing fic in 02, but never seriously, and never published. I guess, better late than never?

Please: comments, questions, recommendations, pokes with sharp sticks, likes, advice, are all most welcome as I’m incredibly new at this fic writing thing, thank you kindly.

THIIIIS!!!! this set feels like such a great summary of stuff around the two of them! and it's a microcosm of questions like, does Ray know that Fraser defended him twice from false accusations while he was gone? does he know that his name lingered in the air like a ghost the whole time? does he know that Fraser ran after the shadow of him the same way he once did Victoria (that he'd recognise him anywhere)? does he know that Fraser made him a dream-catcher?

Does Ray know that Fraser cast aside his duty/his identity/the weight of who he's always been... for him?

Due South is my absolute favourite show, and I have a massive soft spot for Ray Kowalski :D I imagine he’s cranky here because Fraser is nicking off to do something stupid and he, as usual, has to follow, whether he agrees or not  :P

The most dangerous moment for a writer is when you're looking for a fic with specific content but there is not enough of it on Ao3 or not quite the right thing and, as you are digging deeper and deeper into the archive, you can hear the devil whispering into your ear "Oh, if only someone interested in this specific thing could write it... Oh wait, is that a keyboard I see under your fingers?"
